Alpharius, That’s a massive amount of Alpharius! seriously good work getting them all painted up, and based too! It’s unusual to see them on full display on the shelf instead of lurking in the shadows though

Great updates, that purple on the banner looks great. I really like the marauder kit, so many useful bitz.

Oooh, I hadn't thought about it but modeling a Berserker with a polearm is something I may have to try

Yeah, the marauders were really ahead of their time in plastic.

Warhammer armies project, which we will be using, allows for polearm aspiring champions /exalted heros.

After this 10 knights and a mounted Chaos lord of khorne

and then a sorcerer on a manticor.

One of the most underrated kits of all time from gw, the chaos knight kit.

Also, i feel like blood warriors were at some point designed with rank and file in mind, considering their arms and hands.


Anyways, khorne Knights.

i loved chaos knights in whfb the few matches i played. Heavy shock cavalry and or melee cav with some real hmmpph, sadly outperformed by a certain kit so expensive that the nu gw iteration actually looks cheap.

After which a khorne Marshall and a Sorcerer on Manticor and the army is done, only painting remaining.

Really cool updates, those Khorne Knights look very brutal.

Those are some good looking knights, looking forward to seeing some color on those!

Anywaysm finally made my lord and my standard bearer.

Lord to the right, a khorne marshall.

Yes he is on an daemonic a daemonic mount with barding.

The lord will get a cloak to further make him discernable.

Also Khorne wasn't always that one dimensional.
That said, i mostly field him because flying anti spell shenanigans are flying antispell shenanigans.

yes. Soon i will get even more plastic armor. because i clearly lacked heavy armored firepower

Anyways , did an elite choice in the form of 3 medicae and 2/3'rds of the second HQ.


The main part of the command tercio.



The 3 medicaes to grant them the FNP required to make father rust proud.


The assault squad for the Marshall to be embeded in. 4 x energy weapons and blaster pistol, 2 shotguns, 3 Nade launchers, and an adjutant with powerfist and plasma pistol.


The last part of the command tercio will be a squad fully armed with plasmaguns,

And the whole lot. Raw state, the metal will get a dark tint, scratches and then rust.

Started shading and applying rust.

Things that will be needed to be done:

Some more fixing up, leather details.
Scratches on metal blades.

The banner obviously, as i am right now working on it.

After that agrax wash, basing and the green eyes.

Rapid progress as ever not online, that pact with the dark gods must be working! The traitor commissar conversion is looking superb, looking forward to seeing it develop
