I think you are grasping at straw right now. I have a few quotes about the Cadians having purple eyes in majority if not totality and you have a two impresice art work, one of which who's blurry and not in "real color" (it's been washed grey like its frequently done in war images and films to give them an aged look and represent the dust in the air) and the abscence of a description of the eye of a Cadian character. I don't think that Cadian purple eyes have been retconned at all.

Dude, I have literally shown you picture proof of GW released artwork that shows that not all cadians have purple eyes, and you still try to deflect and say I'm wrong.

If that doesn't satisfy you, then I'm done arguing with you because nothing will.

You need to get your sources right... that is a piece of fan art found here... https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/comments/9v3x8p/cadian_honour_by_wraithdt/ It was not released by GW.

There is no "cadian honor" novel as far as I can find online.

Or "relatively common" showing up in like 10% of the population or something.

At this point, we get it, you hate the idea of abhumns/ any change in human form from what has evolved here on earth and are hostile to any fluff/novels/sources that don't back up wiping them all out. It's clear that the Imperium is willing to over look minor things like a strange eye color or a few stable patterns of Abhumans.

This has been consistent since practically the beginning. The IOM are ok with a hand full of off shoots because they are either both useful and/or stable.

It got released today (well only in ebook version though the hard cover version comes in three months).

PS: make sure to type honour and not honor else you indeed won't find it (british and canadians love their u).

The most drastic actions against minor deviation of the human I have seen in Black Library books are from the First Heretic and we are to understand that the Word Bearers, after their humiliation, became extreme in their upholding of human purity rules as to never face suchaa humiliation again and regain their lost honour. They exterminated a human population for using some xeno DNA for curing themselves of a virus. They were absolutly identical to human except for a small strand of DNA in their immune system and killed them all for that. They were disgusted by Cadians because they had purple eye which let's face it isn't that big of a deal especially when Ratlings and Ogryns are around at the same time and fighting beside Crusaders and Imperial soldiers. That's not a reflection of Imperial policies, which are actually more supple then they might look like, but the actions of extremists.

Ah ok, I freely admit I was wrong on this one. I searched "Cadian Honor", because I use real English that doesn't contain French spelling holdovers.

Looks like a piece of fan art that was adopted by GW then. Regardless, I was wrong and it is official artwork now, see above.

As I said numerous times before, abhumans in the Imperium are canon, I don't deny it. I just think it is stupid, and that is my opinion.

What is not opinion is that abhumans are a contrived piece of lore that clashes with other established lore to facilitate the existence of space hobbits and space ogres. Many people think this is great and have no problem with it. I do, and quoting me lore that I have already stated that I think is stupid is not going to change my mind on that. I don't see why people persist in trying.

Sorry, one of the things we took during the revolution was your language.

Now don't make me throw your tea into the "harbour" again.

I know that feel. I made a squad of Beastmen with big shotguns and use them instead of Ogryns, because Ogryns are ugly. And what is better than hyperviolent, 4 feet tall cow-man (yes, I made them cows instead of goats) carelessly charging the enemy head first with shotgun blazing.

Regarding the sanctioned abhuman 'longshanks', what do people interpret this to mean? Tall humans or full on whfb style Giants?

The concept could work towards a fun imperial knight 'counts as'.

Very tall humans. Chyron posted this earlier (from Throneworld):
Spoiler:

Two odd-looking faces peered at her. She squinted until they came into focus, and pushed herself back in alarm when they did. Bald heads with pronounced eyes looked back, their owners crouching on unnaturally long legs.
‘What are you?’ she said. Her stomach rolled with nausea.
‘Oh, that’s charming. Very nice,’ said the one called Marast. ‘People, that’s what we are. If you don’t like us, we can call the orks. Maybe they’ll give you a waking you’d prefer?’
Haas blinked. They were human, of a sort, but stretched in the body. Her eyes strayed to their legs.
‘Guess she’s never seen a longshanks before,’ muttered Huringer.
Marast patted his leg with a thin-fingered hand. ‘That’s what we are. Don’t stare so – in here you’re the odd one out.’
‘You’re… mutants?’
‘Abhumans!’ said Huringer angrily. ‘We’re loyal subjects of the Emperor, same as you, lovey. Ain’t our fault our home’s low-g.’ He turned away from her pointedly.
Haas groggily got to her feet. The room was crammed with longshanks. They had arrayed themselves as best they could around the walls, backs to the metal, long legs drawn up in front of them.
‘Where are you from?’ she asked. Haas was aware there were sanctioned sub-strains of humanity scattered around the galaxy, but that was as far as her knowledge went. On Terra any deviation from the norm was a mutation, and a mutant was a criminal by default.
