Those are all really cute! I really like the potion spider goblin with 4 legs. The one on the mushroon walker is also neat.

How do the trolls fitt into the new stuff? Are they just allies because the get on swimingly?

No real clue yet beyond likely the idea of the Troggoths liking the Gobbos more than they like the Orcs.

Loving the lore on the Dankhold Troggoths:
Antisocial and reclusive, these behemoths dwell in the darkest… well, dankholds, where they slumber away the decades, awakening only to feast on the magical fungi that grow upon the realmstone deposits in the roots of the Mortal Realms. Such raw magic doesn’t kill the Dankhold Troggoths as it would lesser creatures, but instead mutates them into the vast, lumbering monsters you see here. This gigantic plastic kit comes loaded with spare bits, enabling you to make a boulder club-wielding Dankhold Troggoth with a variety of alternatives. We’ll be showing you each in detail in the near furture.

Yeah I am definitely going to try to get a Troggoth pure army when this thing drops. Loving those models.

Someone leaked a warscroll battalion of pure troggoth. Troggothherd? It’s pg 183 of the AOS news and rumors.

Yeaah...but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can run it as Battleline.

More likely than not, however, the biggun can turn Troggoths into Battleline.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. A goblin army. With no goblins.

In the designer video they say you can take a troggoth army.

It's not the army of Goblins that worship the Bad Moon, it's the Bad Moon with its followers' army.

GW just keeps killing it with new AoS lines and this is the best one yet.

I really like this release as well. It's a good evolution from the old WHFB army into a very solid battletome. Not by splitting things into useless subfactions, but by combining them into a coherent force with solid visual tie-ins.

Endless spells and terrain are a given now, but it really adds a neat special flavor to new armies.

Seriously, I would have never thought that an army of Warhammer goblin to be really interesting, but I really, really like those guys. In my opinion, them and the Idoneth Deepkin are the nicest range so far in the Age of Sigmar line. Now, I just need some good old knight models to be fully statisfied with the range.

I love the addition of an army specific terrain piece. While I still largely play 8th edition Fantasy, I still bought the herdstone for my beastmen. These are very nice addition!

Think I’m gonna go all in, and do pure Squigs.

Anyone know what the tournament standard army size is?

it varies depending on your location. You'd want to hit up tga and ask on there since a lot of those guys are tournament guys in your area of the world.

I've heard a few people now say that the book revolves around doing epic amounts of damage but that it dies easily so thats how its "balanced".

Well, onus is on the opponent to take advantage of unreliable movement, and pick their targets carefully.

Defo all in for Squigs!

I picked up the terrain piece, battletome and warscroll cards. No intention of playing them at the moment, but want to paint up some new scenery and read up on what they are packing.

I pledged to not start any new armies this year, so I'm just picking up the terrain piece for terrain for now and probably the book. I'll go all in after they get a Start Collecting or a Battleforce for sure.

I'd love to get one of the squig herds. There's no reason for me to have one but i'd love it just the same.

I have so many armies that desperately need attention in both 40k and AoS.... but I want them so bad. The troggoths are so cool, and dem little Squig Knights!

Glass cannon then? I mean doesn’t one of the troggoths throw mortal wounds? At least games will go a little faster. I’m excited to watch some battle reps or read about how the army does live.

I was counting and looks like I have 10 armies throughout 40k and AoS now. Not even close to done on my Beasts of Chaos, but crap! Now these guys come out and make the Beasts look boring. I think I would also enjoy the Troggoths as they're lower model count and I like caves. The squig-boingers supposedly do mortal wounds on the charge though, so an army of those guys might be in order too. I think getting the tome is warranted for investigation first. Then the Endless Spells for pure fun on shelf display. Then later, maybe, models. I know I'm not getting into Slaanesh, so that's a relief.
