The article says it's going to be revealed in Chrismas Eve and seems an orky boot.

So either a Santork or maybe Ghazzy big reveal? oh theories theories!

Think they’re more referring to it being the Christmas Eve rumour engine?

An ork boot, with fur and possibly springs?

consider me intrigued (& hoping it's not something for bloodbowl)

Looks more Ogre to me?

Though it may be standing on a box of shells?

On a quick look it remins me a lot of the boot pose of either Commando nobs or Badrukk more thanGhazkull since he runs in a fullpowered armor.

P.S: specially the foot pose over a box of spilled teeft or bullets.

Well it literally says Cristmas Engine, so it's probably a Santa Ork.

Yeah with the fur around the boot it seems most likely to be Santa Ork which would be kind of lame. Hopefully I’m wrong though.

I think a Santa Ork would have come out before Christmas (like the Red Gobbo). It won’t really be that relevant as soon as Christmas is done.

I'm guessing a new Deffkopta. The fur on the boot lines up with the existing, really old crappy metal one.

Looks like he’s standing on a chest of bullets, which doesn’t really fit with a Deffkopta. Would be nice though!

KFF Mek. It's unlikely to be Ghaz and the KFF Mek survived legends despite lacking a current model. Clearly not AOS as its standing on a box of shells.

That would be my guess.

I would not dismiss the AOS possibility. Goblin Sky Pirates are in the lore. With Kharadron on the horizon, it may be part of an Underworlds Warband. A preview of a new faction to be the nemesis of the Kharadron.

Maybe we are getting a necrofex colossus to start the undead pirates? Lol.

Designs point towards Nordic, more wulfric inspired than anything.
Not seeing any Elven designs to that.

Just as a thought, but the boot and its position on top of a chest looks an awful lot like the pose Kaptin Badrukk has with a boot on a chest of teef. Perhaps a new plastic sculpt to go with Flash Gits getting a significant cost drop?

We know the warbands for this series from the cards. Nurgle, Ogre Hunter, Daughters of Khaine and Orruk Brutes still to come.

I would. Regardless of Kharadron happening sometime, that doesn't lead to Gobbo Pirates happening anytime soon, especially with Hysh, Giants and various known Underworlds releases.

On the other side of the coin, we know orks are going to be in a PA book, they might get something, and they've a wonky model-shaped hole in their updated points sheet.

You'd not get good odds for betting on Sky Pirate Gobbos, particularly since those are very orky metal teef on that boot.
And there are just too many known things on the docket.

I don’t think it’s related to today’s Christmas reveal. Otherwise it’s a waste, some people don’t see the rumour mill on the first day so it’d be for something out.

Yes it looks like a Christmassy boot, I think that’s just more why they chose this one for the Eve reveal rather than it being related (as mentioned it would have had to come out earlier, no one buys a Christmas mini in Jan).

Goblin pirates to fight sky dwarves are out I’d say.

The new box coming soon is sky dwarves vs tzeentch, so it’s unlikely they’d drop another faction into that lineup.

I’d bet money it’s the prow of a ship.
It’s also derelict looking so unlikely to be eleven.
Maybe chaos or death I’d say.

Also don’t think it’s warband related as it’s pretty big too.
The chain on there gives an idea of scale.

Possibly Blood Angels related. Chalice pendant, and they’ve got thin daggers in a similar style on other models.

I’d like to think brets are coming back, but due to the timing I’d say it’s blood angels.
