Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks!

I'm writing fluff for my company of angry marines, and want to run this name through the filter of community knowledge.

"Here follows the account of Tempernius Irascus, Captain of the Space Marine Company "EMPRAH'S FURY" and the forging of Grundlesmasher, the Thunderhammer of Power."

Any naming violations there? Does the Captain need h is name in front of his name instead of his unit? Is the company designator sufficient?

That depends. What chapter is he from?

If they're actually part of the Angry Marine chapter, you need to consult their fluff. If they are a Chapter of Angry Marines (or angry marines, slightly different thing), then it's up to the culture of the chapter, which is up to whomever's homebrewed said chapter (you).

I like having the Chapter in the "formal" title when naming my doods, but it's not necessary.

I don't know, I've never considered this before. I'm making my own angry marines. I'm not making units out of the "angry marine" codex. I've been writing fluff for days about my angry marine captain, but I need to figure out what to call his company in "40k terms."

I need a "Fill in the blank" template of how you do that. I can make up anything. "Captain Tempernius Irascus, Commander of the 3rd Company "EMPRAH's FURY", Angry Marines Chapter.

Is that the right lexicon?

If it's your Angry Marines chapter, the lexicon is up to you. That said, what you've written here fits with what I see most chapters do, and is very similar in structure to how I do mine.
