Agripiina and the Servitor Maniple
I've fallen to the lure of sending in waves of Kataphrons after splicing some chaps up and reinstalling them into the Kataphron frame.
But alas, it is harder to find a few not-ridiculous looking alternatives for the base servitor than I thought.
I've checked several other companies for alternative models and they all dont fit for some reason, either being beefy as hell and not fitting the chaff role or just not... 40k.
And I'll rather count myself as one of the Lost and Damned before I buy one of those decrepit servitor models GW sells.

Lacking good alternatives (unless you guys can help me out here) I think I'll simply get a few Guardsmen, use some head bits from Kataphons and a few Breacher melee weapons to replace the Servo arm they have.
But since all of these are left arms, I lack a source for weaponless right arms...

Genestealer Cultists look like the best bet for alternative servitors. For the arms, you could try replacing hands holding weapons with bionics - cables, small tools, scanners, etc.

They're not cheap but they do look good:

That is pretty much the loadout I've chosen

Bionic parts on non-GW historics look aces for this as well. They tend to be a bit smaller and fit my mental image of the organic bits being atrophied. Warlord's Celts are a good fit, semi-naked dudes in clothsack pants and vests.

With a little work, a mash of GW kits can work perfectly well for servitors. These are a few I've made using mix of Goliath, Wrack, Sicarian Infiltrator, Kataphron, Flagellant and Dark Vengeance cultist parts:

I managed to get a box of AT-43 Oni - which I use as combat servitors etc. (not my minis in the image, but you get the idea...)

Bits arrived and got built.
I gotta say, the price is quite impressive for these, but the quality is to match.
What I didn't like are the hands - literally all of them were designed to fit a ranged weapon in them which is not what I wanted.
So I did some choppedy chop on Kataphron Destroyer arms and replaced them.

Unfortunately I ran out of Breacher arms, so 3 have to wait to be complete... but all in all, these are some adequate looking servitors!

Might be a bit late, but have you considered FW Tech Thralls?
...Just a head swap and they could be pretty decent servitors?
