Hell, Imperial Guard or Chaos Militia... GW likes to ignore them like they're ugly babies born from a drunken one-night-stand with a toothless bog hag behind the dumpsters at Hardee's.
Hereticus Militarum get's it's own entry in the new Vigilus, atleast they get named, in fact with the strength of 14 regiments.
Do we get rules? For 140'000 - 1'400'000 of them?
I doubt it.
But he maybee i get positive surprised.

The two best-most-ridiculous for me are the Imperator Titan and the Exorcist.
That nurgling mentioned above is amazing though.
Worst ridiculous? Any Thunderwolf Cavalry model. Just terrible.
The Throne of Judgement is very ridiculous, but I'm sorta neutral on it.

Most everything that's still resin, finecast, or *gasp* metal. Seriously, none of those have had a refresh in ages, and many of them show it. Please don't get me wrong, not all of the individual characters look bad, and I'm not talking about anything from FW... just GW. But, some of those models are just horrendous sculpts... going against the flow, I'm gonna have to say the Exorcist is one of my absolute favorite vehicles in 40K.
Going with something current that's been sculpted fairly recently... first thing that comes to mind is the Knight Castellan. It just looks like the sculptor tried to fit too much into something too small. Looks kinda goofy, IMHO. That said, I like the rest of the IK models... just not that one.

Ork Pulsa Rokkits, easily one of the most ridiculous, overpowered things in 2nd edition.
Daemonically Possessed Rhinos in 2nd edition with all the combi-bolters you could glue to them that would only actually die on a penetration roll of 6.

Lord of Skulls, the model is so OD it's cringe worthy. The look and stats of it feel off. It reminds me of the Goblin Golem in Labyrinth. It's big, its huge it looks super threatening but in the end it looks slow af. I feel the only way that thing got all those skulls is by shear admiration, hes like a tax khorne collector. I'm still waiting for a guy to have a Lord of Change with a bunch of pocket change glued all around it practically burying the model. It's funny but in a sense that's how I feel about Lord of Skulls comedic, OD and ridiculous.

What are you talking about? Sassy nurgling is best nurgling.
The most ridiculous things in 40k (besides modeling flops like the new wolfen), for me, are titans (specifically the emperor class). How is a 60-140 meter tall warmachine supposed to function at all? Why not build a bunch of actually useful machines? How are they not immediately blasted apart from orbit or toppled by a couple of rebels with shovels and the foresight to dig a suitably large hole? Who is responsible for their heretical lack of melee weapons (if a tank commander can wave a power sword out of his hatch, then by the god-emperor, slap something stabby on that thing).

Battle on supposed hive worlds that have buildings spaced out to allow knights and other large models access all around. It's a hive, people live in close proximity, bring the buildings closer together, make them 45mm apart in places, if your guy in armour won't go down a snicket, he needs to go a different way. As bad is the bowling green battle with a copse in the middle of a large flat green field

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Hands down Santa Grimnar.
I don't like the Thunderwolves either, and the Wulfen - while fine as a concept - are ridiculous from a miniature perspective, but nothing tops Grimnar with his daemon axe getting pulled by a grav-sled of Wolves. I love Space Wolves, but that just kills me. I can see to thinking "Space Marine Werewolves - awesome!" but I can't fathom who looks at that sled and thinks "this is imposing and cool" and not "this is comical and silly."

There are models that I dislike based on aesthetics such as indomitus terminators and old-marines, but I wouldn’t necessarily call them “ridiculous “. That’s a category all it’s own. I know a lot of posts in this thread are just going to name models they don’t like but I think that misses the point.
The most ridiculous models are pretty much everything space wolf. I just can’t even.
