What do you think of these as Storm Guardians?

Whoa, talk about a blast form the past! Yeah those look good as Stormies. Do you by chance have the plumes that go on those helms? If you do, I think you should use them. SGs have top-knots, so plumes aren't far off. Plus those helmets look a bit incomplete without them. -

I do have the plumes (and the spikes for some) I'll take that under advisement and see how they look, thanks for the suggestion!

I think would look better with standard guardian heads/storm guardian heads. I think the legs and the torso work really well and might steal that combo
(I would peronaly file off some of the spikyness)
At the mo just look like dark eldar to me. But im a purist so take that with a pinch of salt.

They're not wysiwyg if that's what you're asking. Mainly because you want chainswords since these are more effective (no way to get those except for kit or scorpions; or filing every little teeth by hand on some other blades), as well as shuriken weaponry (can just cut catapults or something) and flamers (either kit or fire dragon exarches) or fusion guns (jetbike autarch or kit anyway).
Torsos and helmets are fine, would depend on paintjob.
Let's not forget to thank GW for great opportunity of paying twice for squad by combining plastic and resin kit for cheapest troop choice in the dex.

No need für them to have chainswords. Aeldari blades are fine für my purpose. I wasn't asking about wysiwyg, they have pistol and knife which is close enough for me. I just wanted people's opinion on the conversion.

I appreciate your feedback. I have some guardian helms and unit 2 might get those. In the meantime here they are with plumes and a basecoat.

Honestly, these guys don't really have much in the way of similarities to Storm Guardians outside of the fact they're Eldar and they have a pistol and CCW.
Don't get me wrong, but they'd suit wyches or kabalites more so than stormies.

Kabalites can't have pistol and close combat weapon, unfortunately, the closest I can get to that is Storm Guardians and Wyches don't wear armour near that heavy. I think the next squad with Guardian helms will look a bit more Storm Guardiany.
These are part of an army that mixes Eldar and Dark Eldar bits throughout, with a splash of HArlequin mixed in (not just units but models too).
Now with the first layer of ink.
And the second

Eldar pilot it is. Good eyes. Those are just there for colour comparison. Some helms like that might end up in squad 2. Automatically Appended Next Post: Some more progress, think they look nice with a bit of colour. Got all the base colours (no highlights) on one of them and the blue skin on the others.

With the colour scheme and poses, in a vacuum I'd say they look more generic DEldar, but that's in part because Eldar poses are generally static and less aggressive, and dark purple is a very DEldar-feeling colour.
In a complete Eldar force with the same scheme, I don't think they'd look particularly out of place.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
