So I'm probably gonna go heretic soon. The new black legion stuff is just too pretty. However, I'm looking to add a few noise marines to the list, but really dn't like the noise marine bitz GW sells. Anyone know of any alternatives out there?

I used things from here: http://www.spellcrow.com/pleasure-legions-c-9_43.html
(they are on ebay via a usa seller as well)
Mostly the Sonic Gun collection and the Alt Heads with top knots.
They also have guitar guns if that is what you want.

though not as cool as the classic guitar blaster.

So I've gotten an idea to kitbash some tesla carbines from the necron immortals kit. Do y'all think that might work, at least to distinguish them from the rest of my legionnaires?

Honestly yeah it could though you may want to fix up the front into some kinda speaker to make it noise related. Like these tau bits  get those wub guns. (not necessarily these bits you may be able to ether sculpt or kit bash them some other way. or use the vehicle gargoyles too)

There is the speaker bit that comes with a Chaos Rhino; put that on the ground, attach a cable to it...I’d call that a guitar/bass amp all day long!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

My brother used the vents from the Chaos Marine backpacks with carved down/modified bolters to make them back in the day.

Honestly, I think those Spellcrow bits are awesome, and will let current CSM models fit with the 2018 model.
|
