I am trying to find some bases with a desert theme for my Tallarn Raiders, and was wondering if anyone had a y suggestions for some brands or sites?

Secret Weapon Miniatures do some really nice looking ones; full disclosure I’ve never actually bought any, because it’s not cheap (particularly for a Guard army).

There are loads of types of desert. Have a look on Google images and pick one.

Desert bases are really easy to make, I wouldn't buy any but there are some good manufacturers of cactus, skulls, tufts and other desert bits that'll help sell the idea.

What about a 2 tone salt desert as shown in The Last Jedi? You could show footprints and vehicle tracks as well as rocks and stuff.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

To expand on the last bit, tan to orange yellow paint mixed into or painted on plaster from the hardware store generally makes a decent "rolling sand" kind of base you can then work from, or alternatively vallejo and others makes a "crackle medium" if you prefer the dried salt flats look.

This was just a sand / grit mix glued to the base then drybrushed:

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
