They're fighting with pieces of bone, instead of real weapons. Boots are understandably a hi-tech luxury product for them. I absolutely love that they have bare feet, makes them look more wild and feral.

I have everything I need for my SM collection but newbies will be stuck in the future with imo atrocious Primaris models with the exception of the tactical dudes (Intercessor?).

Speaking of classic SM kits only one comes to my mind which I would have had in my collection:
The techmarine with the artillery piece on tracks. It was first released in metal and was said to be a nightmare to assemble and so I didn´t buy it. Later it was released in finecast and everybody and his dog know that you don´t buy anything related to this material. So I am asking now: When will this kit be released in plastic?

congrats you just explained why Primaris exist.

Because they have nothing new you want. the classic line is complete. they can only expand it by redoing stuff that already exists, (and yeah a plastic thunderfire would be nice) OR releasing hyperspecialized units (how many people do you figure bought the anti-air tanks?)

Primaris allow them, at least for now, to sell the old stuff still (they still look decent although following the CSM kits yeah they're definatly an older kit) well also putting out a TON of new Space Marine units that the fans will buy, and possiably in alrge numbers

WRONG! GW tries in vain to sell me SM all over again. Only fools would fall for this obvious business scheme. Up to this day I haven´t purchased a single Primaris product and I never will.

In the 2 years I've been back in the game, I have purchased significantly more "regular" Astartes than Primaris.

The new Space Marine Heroes are brand new, posed dynamically & with a bit of kitbashing can make/add flavour to your "regular" Astartes.

So I guess they'll never release a new kit for "regular" Astartes again, even tho they have & when series 2 is available there will be BRAND NEW TERMINATOR sculpts.

Why is the primaris tech-marine wearing high heels?

I think they are meant to be power work boots

It's power armor and heroic scale, so the heel is a little exaggerated.

A little I give you the award for understatement of the month

Can we take the Primaris / Astartes complaints elsewhere please? Thanks.

Limited run Japan first collectable blind mini purchases does not a new marine kit make. I'd be shocked to see anything but primaris releases from here on in.

It does make new classic marine models released after Primaris however, regardless of it not being a main line kit.

Having said that, If you take the whole lot of series 1 together it is pretty much a multi-part but mono-pose tactical squad kit like most GW squad kits released in the last 3 years or so. Same for the series 2 terminators.

Just bone weapons?! In a nutshell: They couldn´t solve the Riddle of Steel.

It's not really a riddle they need to solve if it's meant to be Realmstone, which in Ghur takes the form of bones.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

No, I'm well aware of the Conan movies with Ahnald.

Just it's a weird nitpick when they hail from a Realm where bone weaponry that puts steel to shame is entirely a possibility.
