They never said it was a "toy". It's a "collectible figure" in the same vein as Figuarts, Nendaroids, Figma, etc. The articulation is there for you to display it in dynamic poses, they're not meant to be played with in the way mass retail action figures are so the safety standards, tolerances, and the like aren't designed to be the same.

I don’t think he is saying it was a toy.
Just a turn of phrase that it’s fiddly and not to be messed with too much.

It’s out of the box and on the shelf. Am I happy I bought this? Probably..... it’s like all posable figures, hard to manipulate into a natural position without braking it or it falling over. The paint job is ok. Not terrible but definitely not fantastic. I’m not a big collector of these types of figures I have a few and almost all are better painted in my view. I’ve 3 or 4 McFarlane which I think are better so I will see what there’s turn out like. Joints and things are definitely better hidden on the Bandai but the ability to pose isn’t that great when the results look artificial or it’s difficult to keep upright. Give me a well posed well painted statue instead, preferably an inquisitor or an elder farseer!
And the elbow pads are so annoying they fall out every time I move an arm!

The Bandai Marine isn't as big as I was hoping so the scale doesn't line up quite right with Figmas. As a Firstborn it would be doable, but Primaris need another half-inch at least I'd say. Haven't had any problems with the joints that others seem to have been experiencing.

Comparing it to a little girls toy is hardly fair! Is that a LOL doll? My kids are mad for those

Not sure on the exact anime, but I'd guess one of the various Cure series.

Never heard of Figma. If that’s for adults then that’s creepy as flip. It looks like a little girls doll.

So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Hey all, if we can keep the conversation on Bandai Warhammer stuff instead of wandering off onto other topics and judging other people and product lines, it would keep this thread much cleaner, thanks!

Hmm, I ordered mine to be delivered to store, and given it may be a while before they reopen I'm quite surprised they haven't asked if I want it posting to me at home instead (they did that with Saturnine, which I turned down. Which was a huge mistake in retrospect...).

These are hand painted protos at that, too, which is why the details are so rough. Also, the term you're looking for isn't decals, but tampos(short for tampograph).
