My new Imperial Kill team. I did set out to do some Special Weapon Troopers and ended with that:

The Leader is an Guardswoman Sergeant, standard equipment.
A Guardswoman radio operator serving as Comms.
A Guardswoman with Sniper Rifle sometimes serving as Demo.
Two Guardswomen with Flamers.
If points permit a Guardswoman with Lasgun.
A Tempestor sometimes serving as Medic.
4 Scioness Gunners out of 2 Plasma, 2 Melter and 2 Hot Shot Volley Gunners. If there is a specialist slot available, one will be a Sniper.

The models were designed in Cinema 4D and printed on an B9 Creator.

It took ages until I had finished the progenitrix. After I was content with the design, work went much faster 3 models designed and printed on a good day, a single one on a bad day. At the moment there are 17 different models.

Nice job! Though my one small nitpick would be all the kneeling/low models.

Why is that ?

My guess would be a lot of people of Dakka are super sensitive to modeling for advantage. Personally, I don't care as most of the time models with low profiles also lose as many targets so it is half-a-dozen of one, six of the other. Especially in Kill Team which has so many balance issues that wouldn't even be in the top 20 of things to worry about.

Great job. Special weapons and flashgun turned out well. Any other shots from different angles/action shots on the table?

@=Angel=
Only what's under the link. Right now I'm on holiday for a fortnight. I can post something different when I'm back.

@Saturmorn Carvilli
They are all shooters, usually they do not gain anything from hiding. It''s not their usual modus operandi to sneak around and charge from cover.
In fact for those models kneeling might be a disadvantage, as there might be more places from where to charge them unseen. Especially unsatisfying for the flamer and hot volley.
And they might have to move more often to get to a place where to shoot from. Foregoing a "Ready" or suffering -1 for move (Hot Volley).
Anyway up to now it was a non-issue in all games.

Not to mention that there is a plentiful supply of official guard kneeling legs.

If it was a faction for which kneeling legs don't exist then maybe there would be a valid complaint.

Played around with contrast colours and tested them on some Ogresses and a Guardess.

The Grey/Black model is ok, but the green/brownish ones are quite nice for the work involved.

All colours - except the metals - are single coats of contrast paints. Im thinking about redoing them all in green/brown.

I think the black parts worked out great in the figure on the left. Same for the boots on the on the front right. I can't quite say for the one in back since I can't get a good view, but they look just as good.

Contrast paints aren't for me (I barely like the loss of control with a wash), but I do think they can create nice effects. Doubly so with the effort others say they put in to get the effect they do.

The Black is ok, but the gray of the trousers isn't. The photograph is flattering in this regard. This doesn't mean that you can't get better results with practice and probably some medium.

I only play with painted miniatures, because if they deign to fight for me, the least that I can do is paint them
While I can understand the terror of "loss of control with wash" intellectually, my heart can not really feel it The threat of a bad dice roll on the other hand ...

Yeah, I only play with painted miniatures too. About half of my enjoyment of miniatures war gaming comes from two painted forces and a decently decorated table/board. I spent all week painting up the Primaris from First Strike because I think I want to play them in Kill Team this weekend. I just finished them today.

I was only mentioning the wash thing relation to how contrast paints work. It took me a lot long a log time to get comfortable with using the black magic of washes because once I put the wash on I never quite knew where it would pool. I have gotten better with experience and now treat the wash phase as a subtractive process. I see contrast paints as having the same requiring a bit of experience to know where the colors are going to be. When it comes to my painting, I try to leave as little to the unknown as possible. Oddly enough, on the table I have little issue leaving everything to chance.

Is the red haired ogryn on the left farting on what she is shooting at? I mean, she could be kicking a door in, but we are seeing an awful lot of her arse and undercarriage.

Nice paint job on the models. Squatting models look also great. Why did you use clear bases?

I use acrylic bases for more than 15 years., because I like them.

For one they are quickly done, I've painted more than 20 armies (with acrylic bases). If I had had to do decent bases it would be only 15
They look good on any terrain - I agree that looking good is in the eye of the beholder, but at least they do not look out of place on any terrain.
The base does not draw attention from the model.
You can have marker discs which show through them. E.e. for KT I have disks (1mm thick) which are held on the underside of the base to show the specialism of the model.

The black outfit, desert, and blue. If it were my force I'd go with black and try to do an urban camo pattern.
