The first 2K was built and painted in three months and then another 6K was built and painted in two months.

First Tau army I have seen which uses an olive paint scheme. Good job.

The 91st Experimental (Ad Mech+ IG + Tempestus + Space Marines (very few, like 1000 points of them).

No I DON"T know the points. I don't know where to start counting.

War Zepplein, Ordinatus Majoris and Atomic Cannon included as "Super Weapons".

Note... This picture is old. I need to make an up to date picture with all the new additions including those in WIP.

Including the might of a P-1000 (1/72 scale)

Im a show off. lol. sorry
That and I can't bring myself to sell anything. I put so much effort, story, and stuff into each and every tank I couldn't bring myself to sell them.

Geez, are you getting ready for the next world war? I sent your case to the war tribunal in Den Haag. They will sort you out.

A bit of cheating here...

My eldest son's Chaos army, unfortunately it isn't fully painted yet (blame dad - he's been working on other projects )

Spoiler:

And my latest army (sans my Jackals and an official Ridgerunner that's being painted by a friend), Genestealer cults. The brood brothers on the right are catachans and 1E Necromunda Orlocks. The Chimera is a Hanomag 251 (1/35th scale), the Ridgerunners on the left are Robogear/Tehnolog, the tanks are a Chibi Panther tank and a Chibi JGSDF Type 10 tank. The four legged walker is a Prodos Empire of Man Mammoth Walker

God, there's some fantastic stuff in here! Loving the representation from Templars players, too! Thought I'd throw my hat in the ring, for funzies.

These are all my completed templars, but I've got a shedload more in the works (though they've yet to make it to Japan ) A few other projects too, but none that really approach the scale of my marines just yet...

Started them about 5 years ago, and I still have a sort of "Mum! Look what I done!" pride for them, even my crumbier early efforts. I started with this army nearly 5 years ago, I guess, and I couldn't be more glad that I did, it's taken me through some really gakky times, but also given me some great memories, and a fantastic way to just kick back, relax and geek out.

You posted in an unpainted army in a thread for showing off painted armies. It's literally in the title. Nobody cares about your collection of unpainted plastic.

P.S.A. I won't read your posts if you break it into a million separate quotes and make an eyesore of it.

When I have a moment, I plan to replace the picture with just the painted ones. Didn’t have one at the time I put it up

I've been collecting orks for 20+ years. this is a small chunk that I painted last summer for the B&C's ETL.

MY collection is monstrous well over 20,000 in old points. (7th edition.)
I'm not sure I could get it all in one picture.

Nice army's everyone.

I swapped my picture i posted earlier here with the same picture but with different lighting that shows what it more accurately looks like with more of a natural lighting, the first picture had all the colors wrong and was hiding all the highlights because of the lighting i had going.

Also im not happy with the troops or tanks really. They were my first models ever to have painted ( in order from 1st to last is Tanks and troops / Helldrakes / GUO ), so im trying to make them look better at the moment with more tidier fatter trim going around every single thing, which so far is making a huge different and they look 100% better ( the one i have completed so far ). So im removing alot of that gakky looking "ware" i did with the silver on the edges you see aswell. So i just want to say that.

All the troops and tanks in my picture were pre owned when i bought, then i stripped them.

*Sigh*. I completely understand. The Chaos army I reposted I helped my son with, and most of the painted models were done at the start of 6th edition - I was just getting back into 40K and was facing my own horde of grey/primed only that had been languishing for close to twenty years (I'm an RPGer, not a diehard TTG sort of guy). As we were putting the models out tonight, we both realized a good chunk needs a redo - A lot were "finished" before I started to shade my models and had passed the technique on to him (and I always hated basing).

Why show them off then? Well, because my son asked me to, and they are his pride & joy.

And for the record, ya'll stuff is miles ahead of my own ability. Be proud of what you've displayed here. That's a lot of hard work on display.
