Just to check, there wasn't any art cards other than the apocalypse set, was there? The preview video for the day showed a completely different set of art cards, but Staff said that was all there was. Can't figure out where the ones in the video are actually from, it shows 6 (but most are hidden) - 2 appear to be art that was given away at the 500th store event, but I have no idea what the rest are.

The Art Print for Sister Superior is in the box apparantly, but I can't see any mention of it in the box, surpisingly. Seems quite a small box for an A4 print unless it's very folded up.

Was hoping to grab a set of objective markers today but had an early morning race in Essex and now stuck in several of hours of M25 fun trying to get home so suspect they will all be gone by time I get to the local store. Oh well, always next year!

No SoB, but two Funkos and objective markers. Ehh. Maybe I should've bought some to trade them for other limited stuff.

Folded so there's creases visible? I've not seen it myself yet, but it sounds odd if they'd give you an art print and then potentially ruin it with lots of folds right away.

The art print is folded in the box and it unfortunately is the exact kind of poster stock that shows big white seams right through the center of the battle sister proper.

It is just the stock art of the sister on the white background. You may as well take your own to a print shop.

She’s an absolute beauty. Mine is coming in the mail.

I’m disappointed by the “art print” though. I would rather have had a postcard style print the size of the box.

Man, if the rest of the Sisters range matches this, we’re in for a treat.

Nine times out of ten what you're smelling there is called "lots of young people packed into a small space in summer", and it's the same reek you'll find anywhere that qualifies for that description. I think I saw an actual genuine No Hygiene Guy like, three times in the course of the twenty or so years I frequented actual stores for gaming.

I'd say if GW want folk to stop complaining about smelly stores, they would be better served paying for reasonably sized venues and proper air conditioning than coming up with specific policies to address rare fringe cases.

Got my Funko and Sister online, but apparently the badge/pin ran out while I was looking to see if they restocked the contrast colors I need. Was a bit bummed to not be able to get the Objective markers, but I think I like the logo on the Community ones I got at Adepticon better.

Nah there's usually at least one who's smell is stale, and not fresh sweat. And they usually have long nails with dirt under them too.. Bleugh!

For those who grabbed a sister, is she the same scale as the old sisters, or larger?

Nah frendo. There wasn't a single person in the store I was in under 20 other than the ones who had kids of their own and those were too small to smell like adult B.O. It was straight up good old fashioned bad hygiene.

....in fact I rarely see actual teens in my local GW.

Also I wasn't born an adult lol. I know what teens smell like and its not hot armpit regardless of season unless they have bad hygiene.

Size comparison of that Sister with a Primaris Marine and Guardsman? Off the scenic base of course

Depends actually. Game 3-4 of a 2k point tournament NOBODY smells good anymore. Deoderant only goes so far.

Stinkin on game 1 is bullgak though.

University of Nottingham had its open day today. So like every good parent I took my eldest around the Uni... Then diverted to Warhammer World. Perfect timing...

Holy cow that exhibition is amazing. Lots of the new sister on sale, sadly my budget only went as far as 4 x resin weapons for my AT warlords.

If she ends up at Nottingham it's going to destroy my bank balance.

She’s also stood up straight, on a scenic base, compared to the metal model.

I think she is a little bigger, overall, but not as much as the pic suggests?

Essentially a head taller than the old one, like any other modern human compared to one from twenty years ago. Not in the least surprising, and considering we already have Celestine and the twins, not new either.

The thing that stands out is that she is female, thus by GW's standards reasonably realistically proportioned, standing next to a male model who as a Marine may very well be the prime example of GW's heroic proportions, even if they fixed Marine anatomy with Primaris.

We should be glad that the plastic Sisters came out this well and don't feature big heads, hands and feet.

Will the Sister be available from independent stores as well, or is it some special GW store only thing?

FLGS have had it this weekend.

Not sure if that’ll be a continuous thing though.

To add to that, she's not marked as direct only on GW's online store, so unless they change that down the line, independent stores should be able to get her normally.
