I've got it for the XB1 and it is essentially a mix of SOTN, Aria of Sorrow and Order of Eccliesia. "Finished" the game, but I'm guessing its a SOTN thing where one needs glasses to see Richter's manipulator...
I didn't back the game as I have little time for crowd funded projects due to the "be thankfull we've got your money and are taking our sweet time over this!" attitude, and excuses over "unforeseen manufacture issues". In this case, I've been keeping an eye on its release date and its been put back two years in a row...I can imagine the frustration of backers - especially when they start going back on promises near the end of the production. To be fair, though,
BS:ROTN seems to have been handled fair when the chips where down and didn't just leave its backers in limbo( talk to a backer of the Sinclair Vega+, if you want a real horror story! ).
The game itself doesn't quite feel as awesome as SOTN - its lacking the awfully-cheesy-but-ultimately-awesome opening, and the chatting can be a little annoying at times, but
BS: ROTN is pretty damn awesome. Its the game I would have been grateful for back in the ps1/ps2 era, and to have so much returning talent( a certain voice actor has heeded the call of the fans! I won't say who! ) is heart warming.
phillv85, there has certainly been some ups and downs with the production of this game, and not everyone was happy with how it all turned out. I merely walked into a shop and bought a copy, but its thanks to your early investment I got to play the game at all. You put forward your money when Konami no longer valued my custom( I refuse to buy their products now; shaming their staff over tanoys was the final straw. ). To speak frankly, you've not only invested in Koji Igarashi, but also you have invested in me as a fellow gamer. Thank you for making a 22 year dream a reality.
Now rip that seal off and enjoy the game you helped to make! You deserve it!
