I saw the pics of the new models. Have there been any news on the rules or the squad makeups? What about the dog?! Where did it go!!!???

No news beyond their initial reveal. Assuming they're the next plastic release they should be out before September.

They're Palanite Enforcers, not the Adeptus Arbites Enforcers of previous versions - we don't know if they're getting Cyber Mastiffs or riot shields, etc.

Ok cool, that was informative, thank you!

We have yet to hear anything about their rules or exact release date. Word of mouth puts them up for an August release, and they will at least get a PDF of rules then.

Wishlisting on my part here, but I hope for a book with printed rules for Enforcers, Chaos Cults and Genestealer Cults. Add background for all three, appropriate "cult vs. security" scenarios and some fitting Dramatis Personae - boom, another great expansion.

I kind of hope they get a small printed booklet around the size of a spike magazine, and at the same price too. I don't really need another expensive hardback book just for one gang.

Do you guys see them getting those cyber mastifs and the riot shields like days of old?

and/or

getting the same organization like days of old where you picked you 5 man team based on the mission? Replacements and items were free to represent reinforcements from different precincts etc... ?

To the second point, I doubt it. I don't see them stripping out so much of the campaign elements from the gang this time round.

It'll depend on how different they want to make them from Adeptus Arbites (and if they're planning on releasing Adeptus Arbites at some point), and also how unique they want to make them - Cyber Mastiffs already exist in the underhive, and House Van Saar has Energy Shields.

Easy to make your own rules when all their stuff already exists. Dogs, shields and everything else. Old minis can be used AS IS with official rules (venators).

Or make custom rules for your gang, it has already been done multiple times on yaktribe.

The reveal video for the Enforcers lists August as their release date. We don't know what role they'll take or how they'll do the rules.

It's possible they'll do them as a gang (similar to the old rules) - but it's also possible they'll be "Arbitrator Only": A tool to be used by the GM to keep higher-rated gangs in check.

They will be up for pre order this week. Love the look of the models, wish they had shields:

I'm absolutely picking up a box of these models next month. . . but I don't know what I'm going to use them for. See how hard it is to give them lasguns maybe.

They just look so dang awesome.

With a choice of 12 heads and 6 poses, plus loads of shotguns, boltguns, sniper rifles and other most certainly lethal options, you’ll be able to tool up your gang to your tastes – or just make sure that when they’re cracking heads, they look great doing it. The kit is also full of great conversion opportunities, and there is some pretty rad potential for sprucing up your wider Warhammer 40,000 collection.

Boltguns? That's . . . interesting. Hmm.

How about using them as actual Enforcers in Necromunda? Lasgun is a common weapon and should be easily available for all gangs. Even if it wasn't, nobody would care if you modeled them with lasguns, as long as it wasn't for the purpose of gaming the system.

Boltguns.

Because nothing says to a crowd 'knock it off and behave yourselves' like a couple of dozen, sudden cases of 'exploding citizen' syndrome.

Can't wait to get these! Was waiting for Enforcers or Arbites to play Necromunda, gangs don't call to me but police do. Love the armor but not the primaris style helmets, ordered some space police heads from mad robot to fix that.
