Dont think so. They are in a two-week pre order window for Warcry. which will be released on August 3rd. Doubt they will squeeze in Marines awkwardly trying to build hype simultaneously with Warcry (assuming the new Marine Codex comes with new Miniature releases as previewed in the blurry video thing).

August 4th, the hype machine will drop Warcry like a hot potato and move to the next thing, which might be Marines, but not a day before that.

You're forgetting that there are three warbands still to come and another two that haven't even been previewed yet outside of silhouettes in the Core Book.

on the actual topic I do really hope the hover rhino is a thing. just liek a cheap primaris transport that is not also a gunboat/ target priority.

I'm expecting it to be less "hover rhino" and more "hover whirlwind".

"Hover Razorback" would be a good compromise.

Heck, it would be cool if it was more like the Mechanicus open-topped transport. Marines are fully clad in armour, so why not just give them a floating platform that a full 10-man unit can ride to close with the enemy.

either works, though I would prefer a rhino/razerback template of w/ 1 big gun can carry 5 or 6, without big gun can hold 10 (and cheaper in points)

This is an interesting concept I hadn't considered and would welcome it apart from the fact primaris aren't lacking in chaff clearance as it is on the whole.

I'm not expecting it to be able to carry Intercessors or the like. If it carries anyone, I'd imagine it will be Phobos keyworded. Blahblahblah something tactical network can't interface properly with Tacitus armor blahblahblah.

There's something situated in the center of the roof on it that makes me think Whirlwind or Damocles Rhino inspired.

Nah. All we've had today is a Rumour Engine, a Necromunda article, and a Shadowspear ban list.

I find the last article comes out at 1 o'clock my time, so a little over 30 min from now

It's possible, but 3 articles on Community is already a fairly heavy day.

The Whirlwind is basically just a 2d3 shot Autocannon though, and isn't everyone always complaining that multi-shot fixed damage weapons are better than single-shot variable damage weapons?

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

I can't say I'm surprised, but I wondered if anything would come of it.

Didnt they say join us tomorrow for episode 724. If that is the case wont the new info come in 12ish hours if the date thing is even actually an easter egg. 723 was the original episode so probably not the date.

Definitely an idea.

The twitter account is going nuts about hammers lately.

Primaris Lt with thunder hammer?!

Let's wildly speculate

It's not outside the realm of possibility that 723 was just a random number they came up with for the video and the community thought it was an Easter egg. I hope that you're right though and the Easter egg was for today

Thank you. Too bad there is only one of the good looking mask heads so it is a no-go.

I don't believe in bare heads but it's one of the better ones

From what Jes said in the Vanguard video, the stuff that released alongside of Dark Imperium? It was "a taste" of what was to come.

We've now seen the other Phobos armored units(Infiltrators, Eliminators, and Reivers with supporting cast of characters) and some other Vanguard stuff got teased in the Lieutenant video. The Suppressors were the odd duck out as they're wearing not Phobos Armor but Tacitus Armor rather than the Gravis of the Inceptors.

We know there's a character coming for the Iron Hands in Gravis Armor rocking a thunderhammer and I wouldn't be shocked if we saw at least two more units equipped in Gravis Armor and supporting characters whenever the revised Marine book comes out. We've seen Aggressors and the Gravis Captain plus the Iron Hands character...I'm guessing we'll see a Troop type and a Heavy Support choice to round it all out.

in fairness we dunno much about what a gravis unit will bring to the table eneugh to really judge if it's needed or not.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

About Suppressors, they are actually wearing a Gravis-Phobos mix called the Omnis pattern.

If the truth can destroy it, then it deserves to be destroyed.
