These guys are pretty awesome IMO. Seeing as some of the arm options aren't available yet. Which version sticks out to you guys as being good or even too good?

I'm personally a big fan of the double lightning lock version. Gives me some more options vs. infantry heavy events(like the one I was just at).
I'm hoping these will be available at this years Gencon.

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"

I like the double volkite. 10 shots that deal mortals on 6's with ap-1 flat 2. Really all these weapons are good too. Double gravpulsars would absolutely obliterate custode bikers. Double C beams is also amazing for long range blasting (which is easy to stay at max range with 14" moves). Cbeams are probably the best for unsupported wardogs/armiger. The other version work better with a preceptor/despoiler due to range.

I am a little sad you can't do double claws. That could be neat.

With seemingly 0 benefit?

Oh the rad cleanser is part of the claw. Okay so that is actually a viable build too. In fact. Pretty amazing for infernal house.

Could take a lightning gun and claw give it +1 str and damage to the gun and you still got CC ability and auto hit flat 3 gun. I like this.

This version has no top gun ether?

Hmm. I like all of these.

Perhaps it's time to add something to the Iron Warriors case.

Indeed - I am surprised how good and comparable every option is in terms of power level.

Totally.

Rome risk reward options
good flat reliable options.
good long range option
Good short range option

It's really incredible.

It is listed in the unit write-up on the Forge World site, presumably because it is a part of the base Armiger kit.

Interestingly, it doesn't crop up as an option in the HH rules download available from the same product page...

Maybe after 10k years the chaos guys decided having a top gun looked like a good idea?

How so?

I don't really see the rad cleanser measuring up to the other guns. how often does 3 damage with no AP helps?

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

They'll be available from FW with the caveat that some of the double weapon combinations people keep talking about haven't been shown and the implication being you might have to buy two to get a pair of the weapons.

I'd imagine the various 3rd party companies will have a fix for us in short order.

2d6 autohits that wound on 2+ and then you crash into melee for added fun.

Lascannons haven't been supreme knight killers despite having ap. Ap isn't everything when every really tough target has inv save anyway. 0.83333 wound per shot(2d6 of those) vs 0.444 if you hit on 3+ and wound on 3+

But other guns gets just as many hits, at larger range, despite rolling to-hit, due to simply having more shots.
And they have better AP, so even though the cleanser wounds on 2+, I'd except more wounds going through once we consider they all got special tricks like extra hits on 6s with the lightning gun, or mortal wounds with the volkite.

And it's not like the melee abilities of the claw are outstanding.

Well the Rad Cleansers are assault. So you can move assault and shoot with a average range of 26.5 inches. That's going to get you the shots you want, and some kills. And it is cheap, 145 points for that.

Overall the Moirax is one of the strongest things to come to the table for knights. You can really customize a unit for your Meta. I'm just waiting for them to get into the hands of "resellers" so I can just buy the gun/arm sprues. I have 4 Armigers, so I'd like 2 of each arm option. And some magnets.

Can't do double C-Beam otherwise i'd run that all day long...it has most of the benefits, but none of the downsides (no move and shoot) of regular C-Beams.
