Obviously 3 command models (banner, musician, leader). They show 4-5 poses of Hexes so there might be 8 different models in total among the 20. Not any different from the old WFB days of metal models.
That's how the halfling units were supplied. Three command and ?5 troop poses.

The RPG bundle would probably work best for you, then. It has 5 of many of the units (dead/elf/halfling), and those probably aren't command or duplicates, though I'm just guessing.
Gallahad wrote: Is it just me or does the Dead Battalion not seem like that great of a deal compared to the rpg bundle?
I understand what you mean, but it's still just shy of £150 worth of minis for £100. I think the rpg one is phenomenal value, but as it is intended to it gives you lots of models which aren't split between all the factions so you can have multiple encounters.
At the moment the most underwhelming one for me Is the halfling desert raiders, which is still good value at £80 worth of figures for £60, I however am just not massive on the cactusmen. I'd rather some Arabian ogres as there Monstrous infantry unit. Still I'm in for one set at the moment, by the end I'll either purchase multiple of that set or pure halflings and monsters.
kestral wrote: I'm a bit unclear - when you get a regiment of 20 figures - what are you getting? Twenty monopose figures? Twenty posable figures with a few different heads and arms? Twenty non posable figures from 3-4 variations?
They said in the comments there will be several poses.
Crap, if there are several poses my willpower to resist this will shrivel away.
Can anyone here who backed their last Kickstarter comment on the quality of the resin casts and sculpts?
From Latest update
Many will have command groups and at least 5 poses among the troops. This is not true of every unit, some do not have commands and some of the smaller regiments may only have 3 different poses (Anubti). That said if the campaign keeps going as it is then there will be funds available to get even more poses rendered so Im not setting anything in stone now.
various different poses for the bows

it is *OK* I'd say. Compared to their Venetian buildings, for example, I'd say the Venetian ones are better value (detail) for the money, though these might cover more of the table per dollar.

Their newer Venetian ones are quite cool and the floor plans continue to evolve and get more interesting.
That said the cheapest current buildings are around 10 pounds. They seem to have retired a lot of the older, boxy, more simple designs. They weren't bad, but man, the new ones are really great- especially if you play Carnevale.
I imagine these are a similar test line. 4 buildings for 20 isn't too bad when you consider the current prices.
What would help as well is if we get some scale shots.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
This video is hilarious, actually. They're highly pose-able multipart skeleton models and he's complaining about small contact points while he uses a slow setting glue.
I didn't watch the video as I get what was implied. I have put together 180 of these skellies and while they are a bit of a pain to put together that is a damn fair price to pay for them. Poseable and cheap, I'd recommend them to anyone with patience and a want for a horde of skellies.

I looked through a number of their prior KS updates but I didn't have luck finding examples of the quality of their resin casts.
I don't know where they cast either, but the capacity must be massive if they're doing two full factions at once - and I really mean full factions, each with a unit count rivaling GW's fantasy armies even before the AoS splitting up factions.

I ordered this Tomb Queen the other day https://ttcombat.com/collections/games/products/tomb-queen as interested in the Kickstarter but again like others not sure of sculpt/cast quality, so wanted to get an idea (I was getting some terrain anyway)
Arrived today and it's a very nice, crisp cast and a nice model overall. If this is the standard that will be delivered I am very happy to back.
There does seem to be an awful lot being produced with this campaign though, but if they have the capacity to produce it all then all power to them.

That's a big but - there's a load of Dropzone & Dropfleet stuff that's waiting to be released, and they didn't have any previews for Gencon as their 3D printer broke (although they've now bought a second one). Don't get me wrong - I love their stuff but I'm a bit worried they're spreading themselves too thin.
