As the title states, absolutely confused. I have some Harlequins, would love the add The Visarch and some CWE models I really like. But how do I go about this?
The list I'd like to make (I have the Harlequins):

The Visarch
Shadowseer
Troupe Master

Rangers
Troupe
Troupe

Starweaver
Starweaver

Dark Reapers

Striking Scorpions

Skyweavers

For a 1250pts battalion. But again.. Can I do this? What abilities do they retain, gain and lose? Is it battleforged because they all become Ynnari? Really hope someone can help me tell head from tail

The list in this form does not currently work in matched-play Warhammer 40K (it's probably fine for open and narrative play).

One of the earlier nerfs of mixed (e.g. soup) detachments in 40K removed the ability to mix units from different factions in the same detachment (e.g. no Celestine in a Guard Brigade, etc..), and the Ynnari (or now "Asuryani/Drukhari/etc.. reborn") keywords do not get around this.

TLDR: You need to keep your craftworld, harlequins and dark eldar in separate detachments, even if they are all Ynnari (in matched play).

The Ynnari named characters can go into any detachments (and must do so, if they are to be Ynnari).

With just the models you listed, you could go with a non-Ynnari Harlequins detachment and a Ynnari-Craftworlds-Patrol.

Harlequins Battalion

HQ - Shadowseer & Troupe Master
TR - 3x Troupe
FA - Skyweavers
TR - Starweavers

Ynnari Patrol

HQ - The Visarch
TR - Rangers
EL - Striking Scorpions
HS - Dark Reapers

The Visarch could still jump into a Starweavers due to his special rule concerning Eldar transports and Ynnari characters.

That's too bad though.. can't get around getting another Troupe then it seems! Then the list will probably have to go up to 1750 points instead. Not sure Ynnari is gonna be worth it then though, the -1 to hit your units just seems better when running Rangers and Dark Reapers. Thanks for the help, it's been so confusing reading about.

Ynnari are in a bit of a weird place right now. If you were still interested in Aeldari in general it's worth trying out mono-codex builds or souping what you have minus the Ynnari part.

Yeah. If you‘re in it for optimizing and synergies, not just for the models and lore, drop anything Ynnari.

Or at the very least, run your detachments as Craftworld/Harlequins/etc.. and just plug the Ynnari characters in without making the detachment or any other units Ynnari.

Ynnari rules are atrociously bad.

At the very least, you'd probably want to make the Harlequin detachment Ynnari, rather than the Eldar one. Because Ynnari only benefits melee units now.

Not really. Making Harlequins Ynnari, you lose the double move, the 3++ for the Bikes, the ability to double fight, etc..

I didn't say Ynnari Harlequins were better than regular Harlequins. I said that Harlequins were a more logical choice for Ynnari than CWE.

I want to include 'The Visarch' because I like the model, basically. I've thought about simply making a patrol detachment of 'The Visarch', some Wyches and some Incubi (because they fit him so well imo). Have an Alaitoc CWE battalion, and a Soaring Spite battalion. I think that'll be the best mix of playable, and some models I just like, hehe.
Edit: I am not looking for competitive. I am looking for playable, with things I like, either fluff or model wise. But for Alaitoc both Dark Reapers and Rangers seem alright, Troupes in Starweavers are what they are, and skyweavers with haywires seem sweet.

why not use the visarsh model as a farseer or an autarch. Autarch on foot aren't great, but it sure beats being forced in to playing Inari.

I'd like to try out the Ynnari, who knows, maybe they'll get decent again sometime!
What's up with autarchs anyway, is it just me, or are there no models available? I wanted one with a Reaper Cannon, but chose to go with Maugan Ra instead, since there isn't a model for it. Is it because those weapons are index options?

Edit: Also I'm just realizing that Incubi might not benefit from being Ynnari? Is that correct? Still confuses me.

You can only eBay or kitbash most autarch options and they are mostly index options.
The autarch skyrunner with laser lance is pretty decent though if you want to go codex only.

Ive been having fun running an Ynnari supreme command detachment alongside my elfs.

Wraithseer (Lost shroud + Walker of many pahts)
The Yncarne
Wraithknight (Board & Sword)

its not highly competitive but its fun, and the ynnari rules help the knight stay alive a bit (stick the yncarne next to it to give it a feel no pain)

Sounds cool alright! I'd just love to run Visarch with a "bodyguard" of Incubi (Wyches are in there for the patrol detachment). Am I right that I can now take Incubi (with the newly updated rules) but they won't get SfD, but will still benefit from Visarchs aura? Also, just saw Visarch is now 80pts, so basically an autarch. Pretty cool.
