...ok, I know this is triviality. We’ve been discussing it for the past year and we’ve come to conclusion it is time to close shop with the end of 2019. Till then we’ll operate normally – so we’ll still release a couple of new stuff, the orders will be sent, models printed and so on.
But why you might ask. Shortly after KS some pretty nasty stuff happened to both me and Kacper privately, in a very short time span. Sadly it affected the workshop. While we eventually recovered and got the workshop up and running again the chemistry was gone. We no longer worked as a team and we’ve no longer complemented one another.
Don’t get me wrong – the store and sculpting commissions still bring money. But I don’t feel we’re moving in the right direction and things have been stagnating for the past 2 years. I feel that under new roof, with more energetic team the range could blossom.
Which brings me to good news. My hope is that it won’t be the end of the range. At this point we’re in talks with some local vendors that are interested in picking up the range. And there’s also task for you – if you know someone that might be interested / someone you’d like to take over - let us / them know. The more, the better chance it will find a better home.

At this point I’d like to thank several parties. First of all – you, our customers. Not only for financial support. We’ve got so many amazing emails, fantastic chit-chats during events – it kept us going. Secondly our friends that helped us during tough times – Kuba, Maciek, Artur among others. You guys seriously rock!
Then big shout out goes to our team – we’ve got some fantastic folks over the years. It was awesome to watch your skills blossom and so many times things you provided were way outside regular job tasks.
Then to all the companies we’ve worked with – with notable mention to Rebel, Postindustrial Games, Siren Miniatures, Fragged Empire, Sword Board Games, Wargamer and man others. It was fantastic to work on your models.

Even taking all the rough times into account running MaxMini.eu was fantastic experience. We’ve loved it and learned so much. I hope we’ll be able to meet during some future projects. While personally I plan to take a break from wargaming related things I enjoy this hobby too much to leave it completely. Keep on happy hobbying!

Sad news, imho. I know they received a lot of flak for the Green Alliance Kickstarter, but they never gave up on it and made sure every backer got the Pledge eventually. They have some great products and I ordered regularly from them. Hopefully someone can take over, as they have some great alternatives for 40k, in quality resin. Maybe one of the other Polish companies can snatch up the catalogue, one can only hope.

From this place I want to wish them all the best for the future and will see if I can make some room in my Holiday budget to get one last order to them before the end of the year.

Pardon my language, but the feth they did.

I pledged $500.00 first day. I understand that kickstarters fail and not everyone always gets what they pay for, but this was absolutely not a failure case. Furthermore, over 6 months ago I called them out in their thread and they said they would get the pledge to me. I communicated with them via email, gave my new address (I've moved in the last 5 years), and even communicated with the people at my old address ( a very good friend I see every week) JUST IN CASE the package showed up there.

Nothing.

That they turned to selling the models on their webstore before finishing all of their pledges is shady as all feth. I'm glad to see this scumbag company close its doors, and even if the models - which I still very much want - wind up on massive discount, I won't be purchasing them. These thieves don't deserve another red cent out of my pockets, nor anyone else's. Let them rot.

Well that stinks. Didn't they have a Terminator/ Horizon Zero Dawn style post apoc game with hunters fighting robots?

What's going to happen with that?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

That's a shame I though everybody had been sorted out even though there was a very long delay (worth making contact via their website for one last try, epsecially with that much outstanding)

I was under the same impression. Shame to hear they didn't get back to you, morganfreeman. I can only speak of my own experience and I received my 320 pound Pledge complete, albeit a few years later. Furthermore I never had any probs with the company.

I've bought from them a few times in the past and found them good to deal with and the products to be quality. I didnt go in on their KS, but when the fulfillment problems became apparent, especially when they started selling their stuff while backers waited, I wrote them off as a company I'd rather not deal with anymore. Hope the range goes to someone trustworthy...

For a long time, they were really going strong. That Kickstarter though really seemed to kill them. They had pretty regular releases up until that point. Then, once the Kickstarter ended, they pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth and their releases pretty much stopped.

KS will do it to ya. It seems the only companies that really profit from KS are the ones that don't need it in the first place, the big names, or at least medium sized. The tiny guys, if the campaign is anything but small-scale 1 or 2 things, always get overwhelmed and come out worse for wear, especially if the thing they produce is so niche that the KS audience IS their whole audience for the product.

A pity. They made some decent things. Still, I don't think they'll be missed. The whole boutique resin conversion parts and variant kits market seems to be in a freefall, I expect the trend will continue until only one or two of the larger, more established ones remain.

One of the reasons I still say people shouldn't expect discounts on kickstarter backing. You do it so the project exists, not because it's the better deal. I have half a shelf of blurays that wouldn't exist if not for kickstarter, did not exactly get a discount on them.

Some updates...
First - store has been put on maintenance mode. It means no new orders can be made. But at the same time we can still view / process / send those .

Secondly - while no new orders incoming we're still here to send the remaining ones. And we'll be here till at least Feb. This should give us enough time to catch up with backlog (in short - we're here till it is cleared).

And finally a tiny bit of news about MXM future. We're in talks with 3 parties interested in taking over the IP. So now it seems much more likely the range won't disappear.
I'll post more updates as soon as I'll have more info.

Webstore will be put into maintenance mode tomorrow - so no new orders incoming.

For those that made the order recently - note we have quite noticeable delay with shipping at the moment (up to around a month with more troublesome orders). With much smaller team and quite an influx of orders the backlog sadly has built up. To deal with it we're keeping the workshop (but not the store) opened a bit longer.

We're also catching up with emails (office was closed during Xmas).

Thanks for posting that. I find it really annoying when companies make business announcements via social media rather than their own websites, especially when the website has a blog or forum component.
I also make a late order. I'll be giving them the traditional "28 days for delivery" before I make enquiries, but if they have a month-long backlog on dispatch alone I might not receive anything until February.

Their orders also get held up because it seems that Polish postal services can be rather slow. They shipped an order to me early on that went out decently fast, however it then spent a whole month sitting in the Polish export system before it entered the Royal Mail postal system.

I think their stores' back end also didn't help them in that its not easy to check orders. That said it sounded like they were expecting it would take them a month or more to clear the backlog.

I had the same thing with an order from Puppetswar; ordered some stuff from them and Maxmini (farewell ) at the end of November. The Maxmini stuff arrived just before Christmas and the Puppetswar at the end of last week, despite having been dispatched on 3rd December and reached the “leaving Poland” stage according to the tracking number.

Still haven't received the order I placed on 12/1, but reading the posts here it's reassuring that even though they're behind stuff is still being shipped.

Plus I haven't gotten my order from Artel W either, it seems like foreign post or movement through customs is just slowing everything down this time of year.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Minmax communications are a bit slow and their store front was set up oddly so that tracking your own orders through it wasn't as easy as it should be. However I think they are an honest store just snowed under with a lot of product to produce and with no sensible reason to expand their operation at this stage. I think Paypal extended their refund period to 80days or so so you've got a good buffer window.

My most recent Artel W order seems to have stalled getting out of Poland too so there's definitely something odd going on there too
