Will we see the transformation of Helbrecht and Grimaldus into Rubicon Primaris Marines? Thoughts?

I believe we've already seen a preview of Helbrecht's datasheet, and it had no Primaris keyword on it. Can't speak for Grimaldus, but as of yet, no Black Templars Primaris characters (although we know that they have Primaris Marines within their number).
I, for one, am indifferent, though it's nice to disprove the idea that GW only care about Primaris Marines.

No. We pretty much know there are no model releases for BT, so no Primarised characters this time around.

So, that means no new Noise Marines and/or Khorne Bezerkers?

At the current moment? No. Their datasheet might be changed, but the models, for the moment, seem unchanged.

On the Warhammer Community 40K section, one can see the Emperor's Champion and Helbrecht in a non-Primaris form in one of the pictures, so I think it is safe to say they are going to remain Space Marines and not Rubicon Primaris Space Marines.

You do realize that this conclusion does not follow from the BT question asked & answered, right?

Well you are quite right, but I didn't think to look there as it was the weekend and I assumed that most Warhammer Community posts are done during the weekdays. That and the said image is massive in scale, with all different types of Chapters/Legions so it was hard to pick out Helbrecht and the Emperor's Champion right away without double checking. My mistake and apologies.

I'm a little surprised that there doesn't appear to be a BT Primaris Upgrade sprue being released, even if they're not getting a character model.
Shoulder pads, a couple of knightly helmets, and maybe a chained chainsword arm (or something - weapon option with the chains we see on the PA upgrade sprue) - seems a low-effort little thing they could've popped out as a way of gauging interest in BT.

I concur, but didn't Helbrecht get into a verbal spat with Roboute Guilliman about inducting Primaris Marines into their ranks? I mean, lore wise, it would make sense, but from a in-game/modeling perspective, it is odd not to see Primaris upgrades.

The only argument with Guilliman was that Guilliman thought it was a waste to focus so much on Ghazghkull.

Black Templars will get primaris characters when its convenient for GW to produced those models not the other way around.

I have the suspicion that they'll be squatting the BT line at some point hence giving them rules for PA but not their own supplement, because let's face it, they're so different they deserve their own codex/supplement.
I am happy to be wrong, but not updating BT characters or crusader squads to the primaris line has negative implications for me.

Maybe GW is leaving some sm stuff as it is in the case they want revisit it someday, to bank on peoples nostalgia for minimarines and redo that lineup in the same slightly-larger-than-before scale as the recent chaos marines.
I mean, they're bringing WHFB back too, so them redoing the truemarines years from now ain't that far-fetched.

That did strike me as a little odd at first but Phobos Marines aren't really initiates like Scouts are, and mixing Scouts into Primaris squads does bad things for their transport options.
On the other hand there are a couple of Crusader-type squads that would have been good additions that wouldn't have cost GW a thing outside of ink. Scouts mixed with Incursors and/or Eliminators would probably sell a lot of kits.
