Anyone use Reaper minis for any of their AoS armies (either wholesale or for specific models)?
How do you find them? Do they match up scale wise, or are they smaller than GW?

Reaper used to fit in well in older WHFB stuff. Reaper’s scale has stayed the same though and AoS got much bigger. I’d say they’ll look out of whack/scale these days.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Depends entirely on the minatures at hand and what you are using them as. I've seen/used plenty of Reaper miniatures that worked great, one just needs to pick the right thing for the job. Humanoid & generic undead characters in particular are easy to use Reaper options for. I did an undead army in early AoS days using mainly Reaper options with Mantic zombies:

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.
I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games. |

Thanks.
Yep, picked up a very cheap Reaper mummy character and he's turned out fab!

Infiltrating Broodlord

I'm still building my Flesh-Eaters and I wanted a Ghoul Empress (counts as Archregent) to complement my "Samara" Ghoul Queen I'm going to build out of the Grymwatch ghoulie.
I looked at Reaper and wasn't entirely satisfied with the options. There was nothing that really screamed feral vampire.
Then I saw this
And I knew I had to have her.
Found the mini on NobleKnight. Only $17 + shipping so pretty good for a one off hero mini.
She got here recently and haven't been able to prime or start painting, and haven't gotten to building her a suitable base yet. The mini is gorgeous. But it is a bit small. Those ghoul Kings/Archregents are huuuuuge. And my "Knights" dwarf the Empress but I'm okay with that since she'll be backline support sitting on the big ornate corpse throne. Not a frontline leader like my Ghoul Queen on Terrorgheist.
