I wonder if they sent those figs to him or if he bought them himself. I could see a risk of cherry picking the best in terms of detail and lack of mould lines if it's the former.

Yeah the Steel Phalanx are great, and I really like the Hassassins too apart from maybe the drop troop whos armour I’m not sold on and looks a bit awkward with the tactical debris.

I love the look of Helen. She is a fantastic model. The new Steel Phalax models look good also. They are giving me that Appleseed/Section 9 Ghost in the shell vibe which I just love.
I really got to get off my lazy ass and get my nomads painted and start to get some games in.
CB knocking it out of the park again. Good on them.

Yep! Achilles’ heavy armour model is specifically called ‘Hoplite Armour’ so I kind of assumed we’d get them at some point. Thyreos is also new, and the rest are resculpts for SP.

I haven't seen much interest in Code One. Not that it doesn't see play at all, just that after using it to learn the game people quickly want to play something that's not Code One and realize there's not enough difference to be worth sticking to the more limited game.

In my area Code One is good for people who don't have an experienced friend to guide them through the learning process, and then they look for more players and graduate to N4 to get more games against people beyond the friend they bought in with.
It isn't taking anything away from Infinity and offers a channel for newbies into the game so I have no issue with it.

All the Code One model sets are fully compatible with N4, so it really isn't a case of cannibalizing their own lines. I believe eventually these bundled sets wind up available separately; they're kinda like various "starter" bundles from what I can tell.
