Just a heads up folks, I have had a miserable time putting the Sandtrap minis together. They needed a hilarious amount of Super Glue Activator. The glue seemed to just bead off the metal. Both factions.
I've built a fair bit of Infinity over the years and this is the first time I've had any issues but yeah, not fun.

Out of interest when you glue metal models do you wash them first (warm lightly soapy water - and worn toothbrush scrubbing); and when you come to the join itself do you crosshatch score both joining surfaces?
The former gets the oils/release agents off the model and the latter makes a dramatic improvement in bonding time (full cure still takes the same length of time ,but scoring makes it hold tacky and firm way faster)
A mixed bag as usual and somewhat of a departure from the previous ISS design motifs.
Not a fan of the crane at all without its back spikes and head coil, looks rather bland now.
I also preferred the old CG. I find the infantry in general lacklustre compared to previous designs.
On the other hand, I love the palace guard creature and drop remote.

I'm the same as bertbert, was really hoping this refresh was going to be good. Unfortunately I think I prefer the older designs for all the infantry. The palace guard thing and drop remote are admittedly very cool. Will be a right pain to get separately though I imagine 😞

Another one for most of the re-designs leaving me cold. Some of the new stuff is good (the drop-drone is neat in an ugly utilitarian way and the guard mini has panache), but the Pheasant and Crane feel like they were done dirty. Also, not really fond of the new Wu Ming either. The proportions seem more top-heavy than before with those shoulder pads feeling out of place for the faction aesthetic. Don't get me wrong, in the right place, big shoulders can be bad-ass (or I wouldn't have an MC/Warzone avatar), but I don't think they work in this case.
I'll still need to see the rules redesign as well, though going the infiltration/camo-route means it will see a lot of direct comparison to Vanilla and White Banner which may be good or bad. I did kind of like the older direct approach ISS used to take, but also admit that not having any strong tricks tends to make for a weaker army. So it remains to be seen if the update pushes Yu Jing further in to being a high-tech camo-spam faction or if they do something interesting with the new stuff.

Absolutely loving some of the new Yu Jing stuff. I'm torn between either some White Company or Ikari Company (as I love the colours), will have to look through the Army Builder options.
Nice to see scarface get an update. The art for that double set of figs is one of the earliest model sets (along with the Anaconda double pack) that stood out to me. Prior to that it was a line of spindly expensive figs that looked good as cyberpunk replacements... until I discovered the Majesty that is the TAG!

I wasn't a fan of the old model at all but I do mostly like this one. I'm a bit ambivalent to the buffet style plate ejector/mortar on it's back but even with that quibble it's a massive improvement nonetheless.
Also, it looks like there was another big Nomad TAG reveal yesterday as well with a redone Iguana. Is this a TAG themed summer for CB? I think for this one that I prefer the original's sleeker design.

I think the last one that had YJ was back when Kaldstrom was released, and it has imperial agent Adil as YJ model, but that loadout has been removed from N5 army list anyway.
The two TAGs look pretty good, I like that the recent Nomad Tags are so divergent from the rest, almost leaning back into the aesthetic of the early N1 Szalamandra and Lizard with their bulk and head being incorporated into the torso.

Ah, in a move likely to please Alpharius if he is still around, an updated Jotum, reveal here
Spoiler:
Very nice, if you ask me. I couldn't get a non-blurry screenshot, but the video is short enough.
It is nice to be remembered!
I *kind* of like the new Jotum, but a lot of CB's latest refreshes/a lot of their miniature line (especially the TAGs) seems to heading towards the same point in terms of the overall 'look and feel'.
Though, maybe they kind of always did?
