All three Gathering Storm books for £13.25 or £5.50 each - think these were £30 when released.

How much actual story comment was there in those books? I'm tempted because I'd like to read the story but I feel there's a high chance of being disappointed.

Are these the Guilliman comes back to life books?

I'm reading the first one now, Fall of Cadia and the story section runs to nearly 100 pages. At least it is on the gakky ereader app that I'm using, not sure if it retains the original page count. I thought it worth a punt at that price.

Ah, the Fracture of Biel-Tan. Back in the days when you could actually have mixed eldar units in the mixed eldar unit faction.

Looking at my hardbacks:

P8 - 90 or so is story in Fall Of Cadia
P6 - 93 in Fracture of Biel-Tan
P6 - 92 in Rise of the Primarch

This is followed by an 'Eavy Metal showcase and colour schemes etc before the rules kick in.

There's an awful lot of full-page / half-page art in the story sections, though.

So what you're saying is that these books put the "Psychic Awakening" to shame?
