As soon as I saw those claw feets on the silhouette I thought about him but he looks better than I ever imagined

Yep they just confirmed that

Overall, a much better preview day then the last two.
Mostly great reveals, save for Blackstone Fortress.
I like the Greater Spindledrones, but come on. This is the "last quest" and all we got are bigger drones and the thrice return of Thunder Hammer Chaos Champion. (He's on the box and hinted in the trailer.)

A bit of a letdown there, given the cool models we've gotten in the past.

This Necron character is actually super cool. I usually don't like Necrons, but this is very solid aesthetic. I really wish their other models would look this interesting instead of being boring robo-skeletons.

Out of all the options available, one has to wonder why Inquisitor Draxus would opt for the humble shuriken catapult. That being said, it's a wonderful model. I love the unique looking armor she wears, clearly some kind of xenos-influenced design, and I especially like that she's not standing on a Tactical Rock (TM).

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Rather awesome Inquisitor as well - like the purity seal on the Shuriken Catapult - "its all fine guys"

All I can hope for is that Draxus has a helmeted head option.

I see the nominative determinism continues with Inquisitor Lady Dragon...

Really awesome Inquisitor, hoping for more of the warband she seems to have assembled to go with her.

For the undoubted price you would hope.....

Sisters helmit might work otherwise (or Eldar)

The lack of a rock is nice. I'd like the model a bit more without the dragon, to be honest. She's otherwise very practical.

The less important of the two named crypteks? That’s kinda sad after accidentally hyping the silent king.

Oh well, at least he looks good if you leave that goofy dying human with a big arc of flying blood off the base

On the one hand, feth you GW for putting DW and Harlequin rules in fething white dwarf, but on the other hand.., that Necron is pimpin.

Inquisitors are often very old so perhaps she got it during the second edition when it was really good weapon.

It is truly amazing model, I absolutely love it!

I like that Inquisitor Daenerys is carrying a Shuriken Catapult that is the older design with the disc magazine.

Given the inquisitors prominence in trailers in the past (alongside the xeno dragon), not surprising to see her get a model.

I am surprised that we still haven't gotten a Veilwalker model. Since she's such a major harlequin character these days, the like of a dedicated model is odd

Oh gosh, so it is. I love that design. The bottom-mounted mags on modern shuricats never look right to me.

Love how the talking about Xenos Inquisitors keeping an eye on the alien threat during this time and needing to mobilize troops to fight it........you literally have a force to do that, but decided that they aren't important enough to include......wtf???

Szeras made the biotransference and is generally pretty curious about anatomy. Admittedly we don't know much about the story of Pariah, but it just makes sense for Szeras to be the one fething around with blackstone and life essence.

Why take your Chamber Militant when you can have some Ultramarines instead?

She is the tactical rock for that little xenos dragon.

But honestly while I love the idea of this Inquisitor, I'm not really into the pet perched on her arm, and it's just kind of busy in the wrong way. Contrast with the Necron who is busy in a very well done way.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games

So far:

HH stuff - not my army but the model is great.

Snotling BB team - I need this in my life.
Good to see they made sure the little guys had character.

PA stuff - The inquisitor isn’t bad but the cron, that’s an insanely huge win for me in terms of sculpting.
Think this may be sat at the top as my fave 40k sculpt now.

Sons of behemat - I’m actually shocked by this.
I was hoping they wouldn’t go into the goofy look for them and I’m surprised they didn’t.
Turned out looking like amazing models and indeed massive too.

Overall, their post summed it up for me.
Their biggest update yet - True.
Stuff I’ve been waiting for - behemat
Stuff I didn’t know I needed - snotlings

Over all it’s a solid win from me.

I was looking at that, it seems really easy. The blood spurt doesn't reach his swirly thing, and I think the weapon bit touching the guy's back is just a beam coming out of the butt of his lance.
He is standing on the guy, but that can be replaced by terrain pretty easily.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

I suppose that's it then. I'll rate this as better than the last one, since I like those mega giants a lot, and I din't like anything from preview two. The first preview with Lion and Fabius and Cow God was still a bit better than this one imo. I'm definitely going to be buying one of those giants though.

People forget that Inquisitors don't always play well with others...and who's to say that the Deathwatch would have said "okay" to aiding her?
