warcry news too, I suppose it will be just some monster.

I also hope that for blackstone it will be a great new,in the style of escalation, and not another "monster".

Warcry will be interesting- I wasnt expecting any news until after the scions of the flame get released. I wonder if they will be pushed out not long after covid19 finally peters out

Scions of the Flame were supposed to get released in March, so it only makes sense that we would have seen news about a new release.

So this is part 3 of the adepticon preview. My guess is that they will save part 4 for the warhammerfest slot then show those previews later. This all goes to say don’t expect too much from this reveal, especially if you are a 40k player. It seems likely that they intended to reveal 9th edition at Adepticon but they want to delay that reveal until they know when they will be able to start shipping products again.

No Killteam. Already disappointed.

I wont be surprised to see killteam take a page from warcry in terms of having sets of unique interesting sculpts for dedicated sets of minis to be a kill team in the future.

Why would I want that when I could make My Guys? They already kind of did that with the Starstriders and Gellerpox, too.

Is there a *purpose* to spreading this conspiracy theory? A new edition wouldn’t even be particularly big news outside the box set that comes with it, we get tri-yearly balance patches as is, and I can’t fathom them doing a major from-scratch rules reboot any time this decade.

Curious to see what we get for the horus heresy. We've seen the Lion and two dark angels special units, along with a previewed new night lords unit. Maybe we'll see the night lords as actual physical painted models.

Once again, hoping for something on the new fw Indexes, but not expecting anything. Don't want to set myself up for disappointment.

Given that run down? I’m not expecting 9th for this one, as I suspect that’d be a whole reveal unto itself.

AoS is almost certainly showing off the new Gargants.

BSF? Well, the great joy here is that it could be anything 40k. Old, new, reimagined, anything. I’m personally hoping for a new batch of non-human Adventurers. Possibly of ‘all new’ species.

Warcry? New boxed set I reckon. Possibly pushing into a ‘Season 2” type thing, now all the original warbands have been revealed, if not white released

Well, a guy wishlisted it, and then another guy read it and it became a rumor, and then more people did the same, and then it became an expectation where people will be upset if it doesn't happen. So all GW's fault, basically.

Yeah...boo. But I think we got our near-term previews in already. The next book kinda came out of nowhere and seems like it might be more of a quickie release compared to S&I (which still needs Ursus claws, various transfer sheets, strat cards, etc). The Kado book figures to be more impactful with corrupted Titans. I'm eagerly awaiting the Rapier (another Titan I can legally field as an Audax player, whee!), but I'm not expecting it until later this year at the earliest. Maybe next year thanks to the bug.

So, y'all think its a safe bet we'll see Sons of Behemet finally revealed? Tease up with namedrops and an animated trailer, then reveal them in all their glory?

The article on the Sons of Behemet points out that they're on the horizon AND there's a GW reveal weekend in a few days.

Aye, it will at least cut down on the complaints from people whose preferred game doesn't get a preview. Though many still will, as reading the announcement will prove to difficult, as usual.

Bsf allways is kinda surprising however half the time also meh.

Eh. The actual previews are less than 48 hours away from the announcement of the systems to be previewed. If folks couldn't guess half of them already, I don't really know what to tell them.

Amen to that! I was looking forward to new giants though the artwork doing the rounds (that I'd previously missed) definitely points to a continuation of that gangly, pot bellied look that I'm not a big fan of. A new Warcry reveal could be a treat though, absolutely love the aesthetics to that game. Wave after wave of awesome sculpts, be it warparty or monster. Bring it on!

Maybe they'll kill two birds with one stone and show the Sons of Behemat warband for Warcry...
