So I want my admech to be more grimdark and... on the plus side also not too expensive.

Cavalry
-Bloodcrushers with guns being on the mount without a rider
-Morgul Knights- shields and lances make for good hoplites too
-Atalan Jackals

Flyer
-Any Orc flyer with same dimensions
-Heldrake

Bats
-Scourges

With each conversion Id add additional tech, swap arms/heads and weapons when needed

Bloodcrushers have the Khorne symbol on them so you'd have to hide that up too. Attaching guns would be fine though they are otherwise mechanical and provided the different weapons stand out well to tell whch of the two units of cavalry they are it should be fine.

Funny that you mention Atalan Jackals cause I was thinking on using the new Ad-mech cavalry to replace Atalan Jackals for the genestealer cults.

Heldrake would likely work better. Admech do have some ramshackle elements to some designs but its far more organic in style as well as being more fine-crafted elements. Orks are more crude slabs of metal just bolted and welded randomly into place.

Thank you, I might even leave the big shoulder pads off, or glue them on backwards and will be the place I glue the weapons on

Shoulders on the Bloodcrushers are all one bit with the leg. So you can't really leave them off without leaving the whole leg off.

You're trying to make your models cheaper by proxying Bloodcrushers? Aren't they like $100 for five models?

They are slightly cheaper on their website because you get 6 of them. But I'd consider them if I can get them cheaper from other sources
