The Relicblade shop was just restocked, so he was busy doing that.

I have the results of the last chamber: You are a horrible person.
That's what it says: A horrible person...
We weren't even testing for that.

I don't remember the wild monster cards being a thing. Maybe they were just sold out and I missed them?

Grabbed them and a few other bits I was missing.

Thanks for the heads up on the restock!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Watch and listen to me ramble about these minis before ruining them with paint!

Me too!

But I've not received a reply to my PM to him quite a few days ago.

We might be out of luck here!

He'll take care of you. He's been great with responses for me, and is a very personable guy.

But his KS just blew all the other KS outta da water (like, combined...), he's probably still in shock!!

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

I've been following several of the previous kickstarters, but (because of metal miniatures) I didn't take the bite before.

Now I decided that working with metal miniatures (after decades of absence!) might be something I might tolerate doing again in small numbers… So I jumped in on the kickstarter. And put order on several factions on the store so that I have something to work with while waiting for the KS to deliver…

It's metal time again!

Current day metal models like Relicblade or Infinity are a joy to put together. It's not the 90s and early 2000s anymore, where you needed to pin, file and close gaps with Green Stuff all the time.
Nearly all parts fit together neatly, seldom do I need some plastic putty, never pins or GS.

...And the nice thing about these KS models, is that they were specifically designed for new gamers. The 8 new models of base set are single-piece. A few have alt-poses available if you want them, but you don't have to go that route.

I play...

Sigh.

Even the alt poses that I've built so far are at most two pieces. Most parts I've seen on a Relicblade model are 3 parts including the body so far. Maybe there's a more complex one out there but I haven't encountered it yet.

A large chunk of the line are all single piece castings.

I didn't find the alt-pose figures challenging at all, but I've been doing this for a while now...

They do have overhang and such which makes painting more challenging.

The single-pose, single piece guys look like nice variants too

I play...

Sigh.

My order from Metal King Studios arrived today... rules + 5 factions + several single figures... Now I got things to do while waiting for the KS to deliver.

Didn't see anything about the new Kickstarter on the main page so...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/seansutter/relicblade-catacombs-of-kural/description

Already funded.

I don't know half of you as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you as well as you deserve.

Another fun. small Kickstarter for a game which deserves more love. Its creator is also one of the sincerely nicest people I have met in this industry.

I'm backing this one for everything new. What an easy one to support too knowing it is 100% finished, and just waiting on production.
