WHC have a new post up, covering the three new starter set options.
It's interesting that the Bladeguard are called out as getting an individual release, but no mention of the Eradicators, who also don't feature in any of the starters, as far as I can see - let alone any characters other than the Captain on the SM side of things.
I'm less surprised at nothing being mentioned for the Necron side of things, as I figure they're second in the release order.

I have a fairly strict policy of 'absence of evidence, not evidence of absence' when it comes to GW not mentioning things.
In this particular case, its quite possible that the only reason the bladeguard got mentioned is because that picture had already escaped out into the world, so they're playing official catch up with 'leaks' again.

Depends on the prices, but I may have to cut back on other games for this one. I may just indulge in some Necrons and have been giving some thought to starting a Tome Keepers chapter...

It's just 'cause they were leaked.
The reason GW provides, that the Bladeguard aren't in any of the starter boxes because of the upcoming kit, is nonsense. They're not in the upcoming starter boxes because those Bladeguard share a sprue with the Chaplain, Judiciar, Bladeguard Ancient and the Eradicators, and they're not going to include/re-cut that sprue yet/at all.

No dark empire kind of a set. I wonder how much they will cost.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain. |

Well, some are suggesting £80 for the Command edition. Reconsidering the reduced rule book(187 pages) I'm thinking...£90. £100 at best.
