Do they have there own personal transport ships? If so where do they get them? If they dont then how do they get around? Do they just hitch a ride with random imperial ships? Is there like a law saying that if a Freeblade Knight asks for a ride on your ship that you have to give it to them? Like seriosuly how the feth do Freeblades get from planet to planet?

Knightsblade has a group of Freeblades who have banded together and use a "mercenary" Imperial cruiser crewed by Valhallans to get around ("Its Imperial navy heraldry had long been erased, replaced with grim, ashen panoply. Its name was Unbroken"). They've also got "mercenary" Infantry and Sacristans / Tech-Priests -
The mercenaries, meanwhile, were Vesserines that Luk had hired on Tanos Station. They wore dark blue carapace armour and crested helms. Colonel Gesmund led several platoons of heavy infantry, all furnished with Taurox transports that allowed them to keep pace with their Knightly paymasters. Equipped with a mixture of man-portable heavy weaponry, and supported by a squadron of Banehound chem-tanks, they had proved their worth to the Exiles on many occasions.

The "Knightly paymasters" comment makes me think they've either got the money to make things happen, or there is some sort of legal / nobility aspect in play.

The ones with the gauntlets probably just poke out a thumb at the local space ports and hitch a ride with anyone willing to pick them up.

I assume the chainsword versions just ask nicely.

I imagine it's a combination of using money to pay for commercial transport or perhaps hitching a ride with ecclesiarchal or mechanicus ships, who may grant free passage, as they are "doing the Emperor's work/icons of the Omnissiah".

I've always imagined freeblades have some considerable wealth, either left over from their former house or given as thanks from those who they help (or as a fee if the knight is more cynical and mercenary inclined) or they are vagabonds that rely on charity like some kind of mecha-sadhu.

In all seriousness; I wouldn't be surprised if a freeblade banner 'owns' it's drop-craft, though, because hefting quaestoris chassis to and from orbit will take more than a bunch of arvus lighters....
