It's that time again, a lot of stores are announcing their end of the year sales so go ahead and repost them here.

Mad Robot is the first out of the gate (that I know of) with their Tanksgiving Sale.

A bit off topic - anyone have a pic of the Afghans compared to GW guardsmen? These would be great for my idea for a chaos cultists horde with a "Haradim from Lord of Rings" vibe. "28mm scale" can be a bit broad

Cheers

Awesome cheers.

Might get away with it, guess cultists would be a bit undernourished. Might be a bit tricky to swap arms though

They don’t match. The Afghans are more “true scaled” than heroic. WGA’s Raumsjagers are a closer match for GW scale, followed by their Grognards.

I'm surprised GW hasn't announced their usual holiday bundles this year. Have there been any rumors/whispers about those being put out any time soon?

Some people insisting that they "have it on good authority" that there will be holiday battleforces again this year. Others "have it on good authority" that there won't be any.

I, personally, don't have it on any authority, but I'm guessing that GW won't be doing them as a result of the pandemic, lockdowns, etc.

Argh, kind of a bummer if it doesn't happen, it's the bundle I most looked forward to every year to build out my armies... but I suppose understandable given the circumstances.

Definitely crossing my fingers that it does happen though.

Same. I don't really buy individual releases anymore, I basically only buy start collectings, 2 player boxes, holiday battleforces, and starter sets, etc. gotta maximize my dollars.

Its only frustrating when there are obvious holes in your army that you can't fill through buying multiple copies of a box set or you have that one unit you *really* want that they aren't putting in a batleforce etc.

They're a gamestore as far as I know but a very narrowly focused one. They use to be really into Infinity and some card games and dropped them for FFG stuff. They might be more like a game club with a youtube presence and then only sell the games they cover and run at their club.

Cool, so kind of like Kickassmailorder, then?

Anyway, Miniature Market has activated their Black Friday sale page...if you can get it to load.
