Am jumping back into the Imperial Guard as while I love my White Scars, with all the Marine players running around I wanted to do something different to mix things up in games and future tournaments. With that being the case, while looking at the Cadian Models, I want my guys to have enclosed helmeted heads, but due to FW prices or lack of models, I am looking elsewhere for heads that could fulfill the role going forward. Anyone know of any alternative heads that go well with Cadian models and can fit on the Cadian torsos well?

I used pig iron heavy infantry heads for my.guard arguably they are a bit small.considering they are fully enclosed helmets, but GW guard proportions are a bit all over the place so I think it looks good.





I also used the.pig iron system trooper heads on some Marine scout bikers. They are a bit bigger.

As most of the usual suspects have already been named:
Reptillian Overlords does a bunch of Cobra themed stuff, but its STLs, so you'd need a 3D printer. Thought they had a physical store, but can't find it now.

While I do like the IG the plasic Cadian models never interested me and I'd never given them a second thought. That is until I saw pictures in a WD of the Ventrillian Nobles Regiment! While not fully enclosed helmets, it's amazing what effect the Empire pistolier heads from Warhammer Fantasy and a snazzy paint job has to really bring the sculpts to life and make them pop!



I guess the message to take away from this is to never discount alternate head swaps from other factions, either from 40K, Fantasy or even the alternative boxed skirmish ranges.

I use skitarii heads for my storm troopers, they should look good on cadians as well.

Regarding Puppetswar and Anvil:
The guy with the Vox and the right flamer dude have Puppetswar heads, the others Maxmini Desert Dweller heads



And the Officer in the first two as well as the three dudes in the lowest pic have Anvil Industry heads
