Ooh intriguing So I'm gonna guess Slaanesh and Nurgle for Aos and 40K respectively. Necromunda will be the next "House of" book(s) and the respective gang expansions. Underworlds will be more warbands for the next season. And LoTR will be of zero interest to me

That was just the weekly 'at a glance' bit, but good spot. We'll likely see an article about them this week.
They kinda deserve their own thread. There's usually 6-8 so there's a few more yet to see.

For starting out with, yes, and quite packed. But there's massive overlap with last year's, and Hoppers are in literally every Gitz bundle ever made. Gitz have a huge plastic range, I wish bundles explored more of it.

Do we think the price range is going to be about what it was last year? Someone who knows the armies that have the pics want to make a guess? IIRC last year they ran for about 2 Start Collecting boxes.
Emps Children are coming, it's time. All aboard the Fulgrim train.
I've been thinking for a while that they were going to be in this edition, didn't expect a preview so soon though!
I suspect we'll see both Maggotkin and Deathguard. Maggotkin are really due for a new battletome.
I don't think we will be getting any Hedonite stuff though. I think Slaanesh mortals will come later as we progress through the Broken Realms storyline.

Considering how broken realms morathi ended and the hedonite coin? I think it's going to be a teaser for Slaanesh mortals.
Slaanesh Mortals is basically the big gap in the Slaanesh range right now. They don't need any more demonic leader models and whilst more demon models would be nice; its clear that mortals are their next focus.
I just hope it comes with a big update to depravity so that you actually have a reason to take the models. The White Dwarf "mortal" battleforce made me laugh a bit because they basically gave the mortal leader for it (the pair of models on one base) a double depravity generating aura. Soooo basically you could take it and take less leaders or (shock horror idea) why not take it and take all keepers and get double your depravity on one segment of the battlefield!
As in the roadmap for the rest of 2020? Why would that matter? Were EC to be teased/shown off in this preview they'd almost assuredly be a 2021 release anyway

From what I can remember, Battleforce boxes have always been £100 each, but they also do some terrain boxes sometimes (not sure on the price of those), and mega paint bundles too (more than £100 iirc).

Nope. Nothing to indicate that at all.
Odds are good its just the Underworlds band, and some follow-up talk about the dual DoK/Hedonites box.
I agree that there's very little chance of EC, but it will most assuredly be more than just the already-previewed Underworlds warband and already-released DoK/Hedonites box.

Hmmm. Given how the online previews have gone this year, I think assuring yourself that there will be more is a good way to be disappointed.
I can only think of one where I was honestly impressed, the rest fell well below my expectations, even as my expectations dropped with each one.

Don't rain on my parade. It's Fulgrim O clock this Saturday.
Why spread fake rumors?
It's my own speculation from the preview article, I'm not passing it off as official rumor from some source or anything.
Every time someone does that, it gets picked up somewhere else, then comes back here as 'real rumor.' And then people get cranky that it didn't happen. Better to nip baseless speculation in the bud.

If we moderated ourselves to not say things that Spikybits and other such "news" outlets repeat as rumour we'd not be able to say anything at all

They wouldn't talk about things that have already been revealed at a preview day--beyond solidifying dates for releases. And Shadow+Pain is out in the wilds as of yesterday.

It's not baseless. We have a preview that is specifically calling out Slaanesh in Decadence, and these Saturday Previews are almost always new things, so that likely eliminates the boxset that just came out and Direchasm, which has been fully revealed.
Slaanesh Daemons just got a release last year, so I don't think we are seeing those. That leaves Slaanesh Mortals, which look very possible thanks to Broken realms and the Possibility of Emps Children.
Also, there is no rules against speculation in these threads, it's done all the time. If you don't like it, feel free to ignore my posts.
The only credence I would, personally, give to Hedonites as a possibility is because their book was widely considered OP at a mechanical level. We saw Blades of Khorne/Bloodbound get a similar 'quickfix' treatment.
I don't think it's time for Emperor's Children yet. And if it was, I doubt it would be tied to AoS mortal stuff.

I do admit, it is probably a lot more likely that we see Slaanesh mortals than Emps Children. Honestly, the Hedonite tome is a pretty boring battletome since it's basically built around summoning and not much else. I would love a rewrite of it, that included mortals. I would just think they'd save that mortal previews for a little further down the line, since it seems like an endgame situation for Broken Realms.
