Ork Admiral Kroozin Da Kosmos on Da Hulk

Yeah, they now are, but back when the magazine was released you could still buy them. There was no point in buying them because the second issue was just 6€ while the later issues with the very same plague marines in them were more expensive.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Dark Sphere has them in (all issues 1-80) with a slightly larger discount than forbidden planet.
but with much higher postage costs which makes each issue cost more than it would retail for in a local newsagent.

Decided to cancel my subscription to this. Whilst I may paint the necrons, they were never the real reason to purchase, and I've built up my marines quite quickly to the point it would just be giving me duplications of what I already have now, and they aren't the sort of models I'd like to paint more of either.
Think I'm going to just pick up random issues here and there instead, such as the aggressors etc.

My recommendation would be to bulk order the random issues you want as they are listed on Forbidden Planet.
I did that throughout my sub to Conquest and was never disappointed.
The Hachette website could be a but hit and miss with attempting to order. Often issues would show as sold out the moment they were listed.
I never tried to order Conquest issues from Dark Sphere so cannot comment on them as an option.

Is this usual for this kind of sub?
I'd have thought subscribers would get them the same time or earlier than the shops?
With the Conquest run, I usually got each package of four issues at about the same time the latest issue in each package went on sale. I imagine this will be the same.

Also, if you’re gonna cancel.
Do it after your first delivery, foolish to cancel before.
£2.99 for issue 1, issue 2 free, worth having.
(Maybe and then you get the tools gift too? Or is that second delivery?)

A quick update for those who may have wanted the Primaris Captain.
Forbidden Planet no longer have issue 5 listed.
Dark Sphere may be the only option available for the present.
That said, the Lt Calsius issue did become available on several occasions during the Conquest run.

Most likely. As noted with the past magazines, popular issues were reprinted and it might also be that some stock gets shifted around or held back etc.... So there's every chances that they will come back into stock at a latter stage.
Also for the unique character GW knows its going to be a hot target for resellers

I’m really unsure if I’m carrying this on at all..
Lost the excitement for sure (and my Necrons being full almost, and old style models, and having Indomitus already once, and not having really done much model wise lately anyway, and having too much stuff. On and on..).
However, I’ll probably get the second delivery, even if I end up not wanting it, as they take ages to cancel, so maybe I’ll stick the exclusive up for anyone who missed out. I don’t even remember what he looks like, so unless he’s so good it draws me back in to painting Primaris..

I think he would be great in a diorama.
I'm picturing him battling a greater daemon or big nid.
The sword in the enemies mouth, whilst one of the enemies arms is cutting through his other arm.
I'm thinking of trying to use it like that in some way Automatically Appended Next Post: Jadenim wrote:It looks like he’s parrying a high blow; I wonder if this was sculpted to be part of a pair?

I’d say 99% that’s a no.
To me it looks more raised up, to arms style, though a shouting head would have fit that better for sure.
But yeah I like him, maybe I’ll at least get delivery 2.
What was the content issue count known up to?
1-10?
Or just up to 5?

Got the first issue in WHSmith this morning, but when i went in both the local GW and Tesco, it seemed like the magazine wasn't quite the same? WHsmith had the backing as a full A3 piece of card with the magazine and miniatures stuck on it separately, while GW and Tesco had a version with A4 backing where the magazine and miniatures were packed together instead. Seemed a bit strange.

That has happened for Mortal Realms as well. Smiths tend to get the larger versions but other stores get the smaller.
No copies in the Smiths local to my work (just the Warhammer 40K Start collecting book and the latest issue of Mortal Realms). Off to Tesco tonight so will see what they have.

Yeah, I think they offer two versions of the cardback for retailers depending on their shelfspace. Smiths generally have a bit more room for a huge eye catching piece of cardboard, whereas supermarkets have smaller rather fixed layouts.

My local WH Smiths won't put it out as it's too big on the huge A3(?) card so it's in the back and you have to ask for it
so if you don't see it do ask as I bet a fair few other stores will end up doing the same

Picked up a copy for a look, was tempted to subscribe as I have been collecting Necrons recently, but think I'd end up with lots of un-needed duplicates for the Necrons (and quite a few duplicate Imperial models as well).
IIRC my local Tesco seemed to get copies of Mortal Realms in through quite a lot of the run, so hoping this is the same to make it easy to pick up occasional issues.

The main Hachette partworks site is now advertising the first four issues.
https://hachettepartworks.com/en-en/warhammer-40000-imperium/
Perhaps not the best place to buy current issues from but the best place to catch up with back issues as they come back into stock.

Did trial people get up to issue four? And see 5/6 on the back.
Obviously we know 5 is the limited model.
But what was in six?
Issues 2 & 3 aren’t thrilling particularly.
