My statement was intended to back you up on a book not being included with an issue as, previously, they've always been a separate offer.

Anyone in the US still able to find issues in stores (B&N, BaM)? They used to come out weekly/biweekly, but haven't seen anything since issues 26-27 back in July.

Both stores have them, but it's hit or miss on what issue you get from them. Asked the counter folk, and they told me that they get what they get, no counting for what's on the trucks.

One thing, though-- The boxed specific games are on clearance. You can get the figures for 25 bucks a game. 40 and 50% off, depending your store.

Yeah I got ya.
Realize that reply looked very snappy rather than sort of agreeing with the point with jest about it not being part, adding to it was what I meant.

I might be wrong, but I think the UK business model is that they don't stock issues 1~80 in stores. Instead they run issues 1~10 or 20 in stores with the expectation that their "real customers" will get hooked at some point in the early releases and switch to being a subscriber (via the store or via the web).

Main branch WH Smiths and some Tescos carry the full run.

Every now and then, I'm lucky enough to be at the local Martins newsagents early on a Thursday and find one.

You are right that if you want to have every issue, subscribe.

Which is fine for us in the UK.

I haven't seen any in Barnes and Nobles since around May.

Is this still available as a package, or are they just selling individual issues, now?

That's odd, I'm not seeing the new issues on Fauxhammer? Maybe they got removed due to bad info?

I'm not that interested in any of those issues but I might pick up a couple of the atv and fire-strike turrets which they say are due soon.

I don't particularly like either kit in it's standard format and I didn't want to spend cash experimenting with them at full price, however they will be half price with the mag. I think I could have some use for unmanned turrets in narrative games and if I can think of/ find an example of a cool atv conversion I'll happily add some to my white scars.

Of note, that article also indicates that Fauxhammer will be able to publish the contents of the newly annnounced issues 81 - 90 from 1st Dec.

He again stresses that it is all models, no paint or other gubbins.

Wonder if we'll get another folder for those ten issues.

I won't. I opted out after the first paid one as I have no need to keep anything other than the Background pages.

Once the models are built, the others join the recycling bin.

Memo to self - cause those last 10 issues are going to be pretty interesting for Necrons as there's the command barge and that new destroyer in there.

Well, that's different.

Email received today indicates the subscriber's delivery of issues 67 - 70 will come with the Greyfax model for an additional £9.99.

There is an opt out available if the model isn't required.

The model also comes with its own issue of Imperium with paint guide, datasheet and fluff.

I wonder if they'll eventually add Celestine to complete the Triumvirate?

She could be a candidate for the extra 10 issues.

Fauxhammer may reveal all on 1st Dec.

Greyfax seems good for £10, I like that style of Inquisitor a lot (back in the day I much preferred Coteaz but I've come to appreciate the WH style over the years. I think I have a couple of those Inquisitor Lorr in blister stashed away somewhere now that I think about it).

When did they sell Cawl? I don't remember that, maybe I'm thinking of a different triumvirate I know there's been more than one.

The first set was Cawl, Greyfax and Celestine. The second the Ynnari. The third was Gulliman, Cypher and Grand Master Voldus.

I guess I could see them having Cawl and Celestine in those last ten issues. But this would still be an odd one off, so I wonder if there's anything else that are going to come with these last few deliveries as an add on? There's not many plastic characters left for the Necrons, just Szeras and the Psychomancer I think? Until you get to the very expensive kits with the Silent King and Void Dragon.

I bet the Redemptor dreadnought will be the ETB kit from the beginning of 8th. Other then that, those are some great choices!
I hope they will be available in Germany, too...

Ohhh I will HAVE to grab some of these issues! Hexmark and Ulluminator Szeras are great grabs for one issue each! I'm also really tempted to get the Inquisitor. Even though I've no interest in an inquisition army she can join the small collection of character Imperial models that I've got to be one day made into a legion of the Genstealer Cults.

At least if they go to retailers as normal and thus I can order them off Forbidden Planet. Though this looks like I'll have to stalk the websites like crazy as I've feeling those character issues will sell out really fast (not as fast as flayed ones but fast all the same)
