People are ravenous these days, You give them something new which was hoped for years and years, took ages to develop and design, they show 1 picture of it and talk about it for 5 minutes and people scream "NEXT!" what the hell is wrong with people?

I was at least expecting this to be Sisters and Orks since we'd seen a lot of both, then completely new stuff on Friday. Even my cynicism wasn't enough. Yeah but thats what I mean there is plenty of space between being a shill and being so toxicly negative. I dont give a damn about defending GW I just think its unnecessary to spoil everything other people might enjoy. Even on the internet.

geez, pretty hard to overstate my disappointment with this.
More admech rules in the next charadon book? Yikes.
More sisters models? Okay fine but we've seen all but two of these.
A terrain box? These don't interest me anymore now that I have a not even amazing 3d printer.
Hopefully they have something actually interesting and new for the next session :(

I've been using battlescribe for building armies and checking rules for years now, only ever use the codex now to have a quick read through either for the fluff or to check what the rules used to be like.

Well, generally the idea of previews is to show something new. Not something people have known about for weeks. People aren't ravenous, they were just expecting previews.

Disappointing. I was excited when they did the full sisters reveal so quickly because I thought it meant we'd also see the Orks, leaving the second 40k day open for something new. Ah well.
The presenters do a really good job on these previews but the level of content itself can be very hit and miss.

You're the one throwing a tantrum because people aren't graciously gobbling down everything and thanking GW for making a product to sell, so clearly you needed the insight. Most of the stuff shown had been revealed already... and some repeats are fine, but when the entire show is just for one army, most of which is said repeats, you can't act too surprised when not everybody is happy. Especially when it means Friday is going to be more of the same (although Orks haven't had as much shown yet. Probably)

well it all but guarantees that there is nothing big coming soon , and some factions could really use a refresh... (points at aeldari) or an actual rules update (points at basically every other faction)

A Mostly Renegades and Heretics blog.
GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH. |

So many things for 40k that we need two days to show you everything !
- live shows next book for the Charadon series, V9 codex for sisters, 2 new miniatures (rest was known already) -
So many things !!
Ah, I laughed so much. Joke aside, it's good to see my codex coming and I must say the supreme abbess of the Adepta Sororitas is looking cool.
First time we have a High Lord of Terra miniature for a 40k army, I think.

Damn, nice stuff from this one. Definitely looking forward to the terrain set, I mean I have all of that several times over but if they throw it all together for a decent discount that's all the excuse I need to buy some more. The Sisters walker is also great, probably gonna buy that one too if the price isn't too egregious.

I'm a sisters collector. It is decent what is being shown here. But we have seen so much of it before that it can hardly be called a reveal of anything really.
Still the models they showed were some excellent kits. So good stuff.

Holy cow... I didn't tune in so maybe I missed something fundamental. But this just seems like a massive dud, even if you like the models (and I've only seen mecha-HLoT so I don't know yet). I know the supply chain/ERP/whatever has massively screwed with GW and probably hampered their confidence in the ability to deliver releases at any given time. But if that's the case, and you don't have anything you can share... y'know, don't share it. Write an article, do another Saturday preview, whatever; this just is not the right way to market your stuff.
I'm still gobsmacked. Yesterday was pretty decent, how could today be so bad!?

I expected that today’s preview was going to be Sisters focused like how yesterday was Gravelords focused, so I’m not too surprised we didn’t see much. The new Sisters units look pretty good to me, though I’m not so excited about a new book already coming out...hopefully they don’t push Sisters to be *too* much like Marines in that they get a new book every 2-ish years.
I’m also curious if this new book might see the demise of some of the Ecclesiarchy models like Death Cult Assassins and Crusaders. Them not getting kits and seeing the new melee units makes me worry these conversions I’ve been working on are about to be moot.

I’m not sure they needed to split this up into a full week. It would’ve been a lot more impressive all being on the same day imo. Now we have to wait 2 more days to see some other thing for 40K which could’ve just been shown today.
