What do YOU think GW should focus on?

This is not about what they -will- do or what they -might- do. This is 100% your opinion. What do you think GW should focus on, according to the poll above?

I personally have been waiting a very long time for updated Noise Marines, so my vote is to finish factions that we expect are coming. Get them in our hands first and then go back and start fleshing out the rest.

In lieu of that, update old models. There's no reason anything available to buy on the GW website should be over 20 years old in design.

1. Updating existing old models.

Be it Aspect Warriors, Grotesques or Tankbusters, they need to be redone, in plastic, with as many options as possible (ok that last bit'll never happen, but I can still dream).

2. Flesh out the expected armies.

We have Thousand Sons and Death Guard, so let's get World Eaters and Emperor's Children done as well.

Bringing out WE and EC also gives the opportunity to update the Berzerker kit and finally release noise marines that aren't a resin upgrade kit that doesnt even fit the current CSM models.

I voted for all 4 options.

GW could go down any/all of the routes and it would be a hit!

I vote for all four choices.

If I had to pick only 1? Then it'd be updating old models. Specifically limited to updating the remaining metals & Finecast to plastic.

I want to see the basic eldar guardians updated. Keeping the same aesthetic but getting rid of the annoyances of the old kit. This is a weird one though, cause in terms of the artwork the guardians are pretty much perfect. And a redesign runs the risk of them goofing them up. Needs more of a repolish than a redesign.

This!

But, most of all, making the game more balanced than anything else

AI & BFG: / BMG: Mr. Freeze, Deathstroke / Battletech: SR, OWA / HGB: Caprice / Malifaux: Arcanists, Guild, Outcasts / MCP: Mutants / SAGA: Ordensstaat / SW Legion & X-Wing: CIS / WWX: Union

I'd normally all be for updated rules and armies and models for existing armies, but since my army doesn't exist anymore and i'd very much like it existing , i guess i have to vote 1.

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Redo existing models into plastic. I don't actually mind the current Aspect Warriors, I think they've aged quite well (except Warp Spiders), so even if it was just the current sculpts made plastic I'd be fine with that.

Would be nice to have some old characters reintroduced. They were happy to make entirely new ones for Marines such as Ferrios, Garadon and the DA chap, why can't we have Baron Sathonyx, Sergeant Bastonne and Zogwort back? Seriously, can't be too difficult to make a single sculpt.

My faction doesn't fall in to any of the four categories. I guess 2 maybe , but it kind ofa depends what counts as old model line.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

I picked all 4 because GW is a (fairly) large company and can have multiple teams doing multiple things at the same time.

WE codex would be cool, but I dread the inevitable introduction of the blood and skull themed units that will come along with it.

Oh yes. I also like having tanks and Havocs and things in my WE army, I assume these would be stripped out in favour of some gakky giant rideable axe or whatever caricature new thing they come up with...

Now I want that rideable axe! And all their ammo is replaced by smaller axes that their guns discharge. I say go full absurd! I would so buy that army and laugh every time I played it.

I do think they should at least add Lost & Damned (or rather, bring them back) but beyond that (and maybe Dark Mechanicum) they should focus on expanding/updating what's there.

Lost and the Damned would be nice, but Dark Mech I think they would probably rush it and just make the AdMec codex with different keywords.

GW should stop releasing new models/editions entirely until they can fix the rules for the stuff they've already got.

I voted everything but the first one. Though, I have to say, that technically speaking Option 3 is part of Option 1.

That having been said, Option 4 will happen just as they bring out the new codices, and unless it hits an area like Option 2, will have little affect to the progression of the Edition.

Option 1 will affect Option 2 and probably Option 3 (since the poll is not considering them the same) the most as it takes creative time and energy away from getting those established. This why I did not vote for it.

Update old gak finecast and ancient models to new better updated sculpts. The recent Aeterni fiasco shows how you can easily make aweosme sculpts for stuff that already exists whilst retaining the essence of the concept..

After that, flesh out some of the exiting things. Looking at you Tau axilaries and cult marines

Yeah, definitely seems that the consensus is to update old models that have languished for a long time.

I know there's also people talking about the rules, but I'm speaking from entirely a miniature-creation standpoint.

It'll be interesting to come back to this in 2-3 years, when we're into 10th edition and HOPEFULLY many of these things have already happened.

Given the recent plastic Greater Daemons, those two weird new Slaaneshi ones that aren't out yet, the new Morathi, the upcoming Lord Kroak, and of course Be'lakor, isn't it time GW did the same for the Eldar Avatar?
