In the first picture I've figured everyone out except the circled guy.

2nd Picture it looks like a bunch of mixture of models with some old Legion of the Damned mixed in. Anyone know roughly what era?

3rd picture - No idea, nothing seems to line up.

Thanks

Circled guy is a 3rd Ed. (?) Veteran Sergeant, and the last pick is a (converted) Blood Angels Chaplain of a similar vintage.

Models are from 2nd edition. Notably, the Sergeant was also the model packaged in the iconic 2nd Edition Ultramarines Tactical Squad box. I remember him well

Similarly, the Chaplain was the one packaged in the red Death Company box.

The bolter design for the chaplain suggests 2nd ed (magazines are chunkier than either RT or 3rd edition), which is when many of the more recognisable SM characters date from.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I have a funny story about one of those. I painted one up for my 4th edition Space Marine army, and sold it off during 5th. I later found the SAME MODEL on ebay during 8th, and bought it back.

So in total, did you make or lose money off of those transactions?

But confident nonetheless as he could always get an extension.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

That's actually really cool.

There was a box set of Legion of the Damned marines in 2nd edition (sculpting the skulls on was one of Mick McVey's trainee sculptor jobs, IIRC), which looks like what you have there in the 2nd pic.

And someone's glued a hand flamer to the Chaplain's bolter to make it a combi-weapon.

The Ultramarine captain with a power-gladius actually dates from mid 1st edition - he's a good four or five years older than the rest (apart from the guy in the first pic you couldn't identify - he's also from late in 1st edition).

I might have made a couple bucks. The more important bit is that my financial situation was very different. I really needed the money when I sold it.

I have another story about seeing a squad of the original Grey Knight models that I painted in high school at a gaming flea market. I was like"whoah! I painted those!" And the seller more or less rolled his eyes at me, hah.
