I'll throw my suggestion out there. As always never use true white it looks off
Reaper master series paint, Misty gray, is a great off white.
Another great white to use is snow white, it's a slight blue
|
To many unpainted models to count. |

Curious about the ink suggestions, can the folks who use it chime in with their preferred brand? I don’t use an airbrush if that matters. Thanks!

I use both liquitex or Daler Rowley. White ink is a must imo. But there are also many others to mix with if you're feeling up to it. You can also use them to make contrast paint by adding some matte medium. So versatile that you'll forget you even have gw pots...

As far as white ink goes I have only used FW. I like it but have no comparison

I have never used white ink as described here, but I have used a great deal of ink to make washes with ( GWS and AP washes are terrific, but I don't want to use them to wash a giant-ass piece of terrain, or kaiju). I will secod both Daler-Rowney and Liquitex as the brands I like for that purpose.
