Just seen this advertised and I’m wondering if can see the need for it but as it’s not like anything I’ve seen before I’m tempted to try it.

Can anyone else see the point in it? It’s less than 15 euros so not expensive

You will always have clean water to clean your brush with. No more getting fresh water constantly when painting.

Interesting idea, but it looks like the bowl is very shallow. Though I feel like they saw an automatic pet water bowl and are trying too hard to integrate that concept.

Finally, I'll no longer have to deal with the painfully agonizing experience of replacing my paint water. The sink is like a whole 20ft. away. That's far and requires an exceptional amount of effort to stand up and walk.

Gimmick. Garbage.

And not really a new idea. Masterson has had their Rinse Well for years.

A lot of what GSW does seems to be repackaged/reworks of lots of other things out there to me. But, I suppose if they can sell them, then great for them.

Finally, I'll no longer have to deal with the painfully agonizing experience of risking waking up my light sleeper daughter from her nap so I can replace my paint water. The sink is up a set of stairs with creaking floors in between. It requires an exceptional amount of effort to be silent when walking so she doesn't wake up and put an end to my hobby time.

Convenient. Brilliant.

That said, I would probably just get the Masterson one...

I'm all for a good gimmick, but could you not just have a pot and a bottle to hand?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

This seems like a really silly gimmick to have and honestly pointless.

Everything this thing does you can do with 2 cups.

1) cup is a wash pot to get the bulk of the paint out, bang the brush around pulling out and drag across the lip.
2) swish it clean in the second cup to clean out the paint water from the brush.
3) lick to a point.
Done.
The amount of paint water being deposited from the brush into the clean cup number 2 is so miniscule it wont matter.

To many unpainted models to count.

LOL... Awesome counter post is awesome.

But... This product is still a crappy gimmick that offers nothing and has no real benefit.

It looks like the whole point is in the textured surface to scrub the brush against.
Never needed anything more than a "The masters brush cleaner" and a paint rag for that.

Also, perhaps only in particular style of watercolor you would want fresh clean water as you go. And for that your would naturally just set up 3 cups of water for a paint session.

I’m a fan of GSW, it’s my go to for pretty much everything, but you right they do their own version of many things that already exists. Just always seem to be cheaper and as good, if not better quality. I’m a bit annoyed I bought the redgrass wet pallet and then GSW brought out their own wet pallet at a much cheaper price.

I do think they also do some unique products as well.

I don’t think I’ll bother with this product though
