Isn't it a bit early for stores to be getting them?

Or perhaps something on the mould was misaligned or tore up; but was just good enough to slip through quality checking? Enough that perhaps working out which kits are good and which are bad isn't worth it.

They might be "in the system" so already palleted and shipping out but not quite at the stores yet?

UK stores get the stock (if they ordered it, of course) during the week after the 'Sunday Preview' on WarCom. It still can't be sold until release date, obvs, but store owners get a head start for their personal collections (or display models for their shop).
