Well none of my pics are as pretty as sherrypies, but i finally got my battlefleet bakka done and on the table-



Did a training game for a new player, he used my imperials i used my chaos. he tried to encircle my spearhead but i managed to roll around behind him, he lost 2 cruisers (one a wreck and one exploded)and he managed to cripple one of my devastations, at that point since it was getting late, he broke off the engagement.

I was digging around my parents attic and found four unassembled Chaos cruisers and a despoiler class battleship! I have 6 escorts as well so suddenly I have a Chaos fleet! Delighted, because I felt the chaos fleet was gonna be hard to scratchbuild.

A little something rare today, got my buddy to break out his Tau for a 1,500 point game.

The table had asteroid fiields for terrain.

The tau fleet was borrowed by a player new to the game who plays tau in 40K who wanted to give it a try.

I had the lead early on with some good nova cannon hits, but he turned it into a much closer game by killing my battleship with critical hits.

I also lost one of my 3 dominators. still managed to pull it out in the end when his battleship withdrew.

Finished a Nid Hive Ship "Elokuun kruunu" (Crown of August). Originally built and sloppily painted 15 years ago, given a glow-up this summer as I started restoration on the fleet. Just didn't have time to paint the name scrolls until now, rest of the fleet should follow suit soon. Good ol' glue bottle.

Tyranid attack! Carrying on with my renovation project of slapping more paint on top of age-old models, the cruiser Revontulten repijä (Tearer of Auroras) has finally gotten a few more highlights and its name scroll.

Hive fleet Mesmeria creeps forth! That's all the ships I built 15 years ago glowed up, any further reinforcements for these gribblies are going to be new stuff
