Hi, new to 30k actually playing but have had a small Mk3 force since the Propsero box came out.

Also have a nice resin praetor, question is, I can give unit sergeants the "half a force weapon" via the book rules but not independent character who one would assume are meant to carry the full fat not semi skimmed version, but not seeing a way to upgrade them to it?

seems a curious omission given they do actually make a praetor model with whats obviously a thousand sons force weapon (not that I have that one, just the Mk III command pack)

any ideas?

I believe the vanilla force weapons are locked to the librarian consuls, are they not? The demi-force weapons are how the TS get around that.

yes but they are specifically prohibited from independent characters, a pity, would take them any day, safer
