If I use illusory supplication can’t be hit on 1-3 unmodified roles. Would benediction of darkness +1 to armor saves or Feculent +1 toughness is better with Illusory?

Sounds like a tactics not a rules question

It’s not depends on who is targeting you. You have one of two choices pre game when making your army. So it’s one or the other.

“Which is better” is not a rules question, if you understand how both rules work. Thus it’s a tactics question.

S3 AP0 against a T4 3+ model doubles durability with +1 save, while +1 Toughness does nothing.
The same weapon against a T5 5+ model has 33% more durability with +1 save, while +1 Toughness doubles it.
It. Depends.

It absolutely depends. For a start, you haven't even given us all the information we need. Who are you planning to cast Illusory Supplication on? There's a big difference depending on whether you buff Possessed, Terminators, Chosen or regular Legionnaires. Possessed and Terminators are the usual targets and that highlights just how much it depends. Possessed are T5 3+ save and Terminators are T4 2+ save so buffing armour benefits Possessed a lot while buffing Toughness likely helps Terminators more, because of how the breakpoints in 40k stats work and AoC being a thing.
If you're facing a lot of S3 or a lot of S7+ attacks, the Toughness buff is irrelevant. If you face lots of high- AP weapons, the armour buff won't help much. Notably, Tau have a lot of S6/7+ shots available to them so armour might be better to buff there. Other armies put out a lot of S3 or S4 shooting with little AP, so Toughness might be a better bet. Ultimately, it's a personal preference and local meta call.
Also, if you're asking for advice it's probably a good idea not to dismiss that advice out of hand.

Lacking any more info?
Probably the +1 to save.
Because at worst s 5+ is generally all that's needed to wound. But it's still got to get though the Armor Save.
Like I said though, lack of info.

So. How much benefit +1t is for t3 guy if you get hit by s8?
How useful +1 save is to 3+ guy when hit by -5?
If you think it doesn"t matter who targets back to study basics as this isn't question to worry complete beginners. Focus on core rules first

Of course, always shoot anti armour weapons at T3 infantry
