Since the release of the new Possessed models, the Greater Possessed unit has been discontinued. However, they still remain canon, and I think it would be cool to give them a new model and new rules. This unit would make the most sense as an Elite unit, though I won't lie that I would love to run one as a warlord. Since they're characters, they would be able to take a Chaos mark and have access to all related abilities. They would serve as something of a mix of a buff unit for Daemonkin and a stand-alone beatstick.

Greater Possessed: While a friendly [LEGION] DAEMONKIN unit is within 6" of this model, excluding GREATER POSSESSED, each time a model in that unit makes an attack, re-roll a hit roll of 1.

I'd make the reroll a wound roll of 1. I just don't see them really leading Possessed to hit more often. Otherwise about what I'd expect.

Seems reasonable. Probably price it just a smidge higher than a chaos lord to account for the higher Toughness and call it good.

I could even picture bumping its W to maybe 6 or 7 and treating it like a lieutenant grade HQ unit.

This way, GW can just print out the version from the boxed set as a solo kit (so they don't have to make new greater possessed multi-pose box).

I'd assume it'd be far less labor intensive than resculpting a brand new kit.

That would be pretty cool. Also, I made it a character so that it could take relics. I think it would be cool if the two Greater Possessed models were re-boxed alongside the Master of Possession for a kit of three models.
