We….we don’t do Resin in my crypt. Well we do, but it’s pouring resin for other craft projects. I hate modelling with it.

Yeah, they can come in squadrons of up to 2, so you should probably stop there. And you'll need to be playing at least 3400 points to use both.

tbf, 3000 is normal so i would rekon that "big 30k" battles will easily reach 4000 or even 5000 pts.

i am however still waiting for daemons and militia PDF's

So having two weeks of vacation, I'm back to the game.
So it's time to finish this assault squad and start a real 2nd edition unit: a tactical support squad with rotor cannons
And, at long last, a special project for my heart: captain Sault Tarvitz !
So those are my projects for the next two weeks

I've been doing some Heresy-themed terrain. Remember the old 'Battlescape' terrain kit?

I’ve had that old ‘Battlescape’ kit for years, waiting to find a use for it. So when I messed up my first Predator (wrong weapons), I decided it would become a battlefield wreck. The statue is from the Warhammer ‘Garden of Mor’ kit. I am also modifying the mausoleum models from that kit into Heresy terrain.

I also added some Heresy-era stuff to this old terrain piece.

Photos fixed now. Normal service has resumed.

Think I’m gonna order 4 Contemptors as this month’s addition to my growing force. Because I bloody love Dreadnoughts, and want to be able to run Fury of the Ancients once in a while.

Got to say, I’m quite impressed with the Rites of War as a thing. Whilst I’m far from familiar with all of them, and I’m not gonna claim they’re necessarily well balanced, they’re decent ways to flavour your force, as they usually come with a limitation.

ROW is something I never knew I wanted let alone needed in my life...

Finally started painting my 22nd Chapter Ultramarines. The biggest problem i'm anticipating is finding enough destroyer transfers for like, 70 dudes.

That is the type of FW rules we got during 6/7th, if you ever get the chance take a look at the rules for R&H in IA 13 or the Eldar-Corsairs.

That said, the rites i find comparativ bit all over the shop in regards to quality

Anyways i got myself the Liber Imperium and Mechanicum, and especially the SA have some really interesting bits and bobs in their "rite" equivalent. Now if the list would be a bit more expansive then it would be a perfect from me.
But since i had the start of a Nurgle themed trench warfare force going anyways, time to build a force then.

70 destroyer transfers? !? at that point wouldn't you be better off creating a stamp?

Pretty sure there are places that will do custom transfers for you?

No idea on price, but surely it has to be cheaper than the second hand market.

What a brill conversion! Makes me have KAS for that Battlescape kit

Ordered my next 4 Contemptors.

Kind of fancy a second, ranged Leviathan but no discounters seem to have them in stock. That means…..a trip to Chaos Cards! Yay!

The Sicaran is one of the models that convinced me to jump into WH30k. I have 2 of them waiting for my Ultramarines, although I bet by the time I'm ready to start building them the other (better) variants have been released.

I picked up a Leviathan, and although it's impressive I prefer the Contemptor. My Leviathan is joining the Sons of Horus:

Contemptors arrived. Less than 24 hours after ordering, so Goblin Gaming, Nuff Respect!

Definitely gonna do one with two Assault Cannon.
