Made a start on my Night Lords army after a 2+ year hiatus from the hobby, gonna start with a 500pt force of:
Centurion
Contemptor Dreadnought
2x Tactical squads

Got 9 tacticals built + the Contemptor and Centurion, with two models painted (currently struggling with my new airbrush). Need to do the Sergeants too, gonna give them the bat wing ears and the Night Lord's chainglaive.

Really enjoying getting back into stuff so far!

Alpha legion Veterans. Since the hoplon breachers didn't work out. So i now will have 30 Veterans.

I'm waiting with bated breath to see what the Solar Aux reveals are in the new year.

I've got a Valor waiting to get built and if I can nab some plastic Malcadors, I might have to go a bit mental with the spending.

Plastics malcadors should've been a thing a long time ago.
Arguably before the rogal dorn tank.

Heck yea. For me the Malcador has probably the nicest silhouette of all imperial tanks.

There are quite a few vehicles that would be more fun to see in plastic. We have the sentinel shown already, perhaps an aurox would be good too or even a dracosan? Rapiers would be a godsend for both solar and the legions that enjoy their use.

Yes, a Rapier in plastic would be awesome, and I'm sure it would sell well. I would also like to see the Javelin in plastic, but I guess the SA will be getting the plastic love for the foreseeable future.

Gradually getting my solar painted up, good ol slapchop making it a little more manageable cause damn did I end up printing more models than originally planned. Need to pick up some more 25mm bases actually.

Also put together another medic for my 3rd legion. Kinda fun to kitbash from a bunch of different sources.

I like building Apothecaries too. Here are my 2 Space Wolf medics; the bike-mounted model is still very much WiP.

Finishing 5 Venatari. But I will need one more for optimum loadout

Because it's plastic and they can't make one piece plastic kit?
Resin Deredeo leg was 4, or maybe even 3, piece for whole leg.

Actually, those components appear to be quite well cast. The newest FW Heresy figures are beautifully crisp and easy to assemble.

I redid my Alphariuses spear head, AGAIN.
Also built the second deredo and now am working on my favourite HH unit, the proteus. Another one. What? I didn't want to go down the route of HSS with lascannons but i still require AT duty and i love myself cataphractii terminators, so i combined it.

To be fair I've never had a single issue with a FW or a finecast sculpt. For me it's just internet noise and legends

But I did find FW's vehicle upgrade kits frustrating - pieces like the Rhino doors with chapter icons and extra armour were almost always warped and/or slightly misshapen. And there are still sometimes issues with curved swords and other weapons on FW figures.

Yeah I agree with you on those things. I've had only a handful vehicles from FW so I've mainly avoided the worse of it, but sword are definitely an issue with FW. Nothing that hot water and some patience can't overcome though I believe

I've always found it's very model specific, like some units, upgrades, weapons, etc. seem to have really good moulds and I can get a whole unit of 10 and barely have to do any tidying up then other times the entire batch has the same mould misalignment issues. And as you say, bigger models like vehicles and monsters are almost always a pain: Aetaos'Rau'Keres and the fire raptor kits were both particularly bad.

Built 2 proteusi. Because half a HSS squad that is mobile and can transport is nice.

I just managed to source 5 FW Deathsworn heads, and am going to use them to convert some new Mk III Marines into Deathsworn.

So far I've built, 3 drop pods, primarch, praetors, 20 tacticals.

Yet to be built 3 drop pods, 40 marines ( thinking tactical support, breachers and despoilers), 12 justarians, contemptor and deredeo dreadnought.

I figure I'll need some dread claws & or dreadnought drop pods and an assault claw for the dreadnoughts, terminators and primarch? I've got plenty to built and paint before I figure out the remaining transports. Unless they say I can deep strike the terminators and Horus...

You are courageous, I find the drop pod model to be atrocious to build and paint. I was planning 5 in a 40k SM list a long time ago but stopped at 3^^
